诸如甲胺磷、滴滴涕、二溴氯乙烷等因为毒性过大而被我国禁止使用的农药，农民无视国家的相关规定，因为其具有较好的虫效果，所以依然在违规大量使用。对于这些高毒性的农药所造成的环境污染，则持无视的态度。
（二）对于农药的使用不够科学和规范。
农民本身存在文化程度和认知水平不足的问题，所以在农作物出现病虫害的时候，农民便会随便的喷洒农药，这就导致农药的用量也许已经超过了使用标准数倍，但是因为没有实现对症下药，所以导致无法达到所期待的效果，而且害虫本身会快速的产生该农药的抗药性，进而出现害虫数量激增，并且能够灭害虫的特效药越来越少的情况。
（三）对于农药施用后的安全时间没有概念。
农药的施用势必会出现残留的情况，而随着时间的推移，农作物的农药残留量会逐渐的减少，而这个时间也就是农药所谓的安全时间，不同的农药的安全时间不完全相同，农药包装基本都有标明具体的安全时间，但是为了能够使得农作物可以更快的上市，且农民本身对于农药的安全时间概念的认识就不够深入，所以在作物即将上市的时候，农民依然在喷洒农药，这就导致作物的农药残留量严重的超标，对人体的健康产生了非常严重的威胁。
