（一）家庭防火的的基本要求：不要卧床吸烟、不要乱扔烟头；教育孩子不要玩火；正确使用各种家用电器，选择安全可靠的的电源开关，出门前关闭电源；在家庭中配备必要的灭火器材，并学会正确使用。
（二）遇有火险时，请用下列方法处置：发现火情后迅速拨打火警电话“119”，讲明，并派人到路口迎候消防车；最主要的是尽快离开现场，脱离危险，可用湿毛巾捂住口鼻，用水浸湿毯子或被褥披在身上并包好头部冲出房间，安全脱离火灾现场。
（三）火场逃生要诀： 第一诀：住户务必留心各疏散通道，以便尽快逃生。第二诀：火场充满烟雾，可用湿毛巾蒙住口鼻，匍匐撤离。第三诀：尽量呆在阳台、窗口等易于被人发现的地方。第四诀：如果身上着火，应赶紧脱掉衣服或就地打滚，压灭火苗。
