暑假是多种多样的，有快乐有悲伤。但令我印象最深刻的是去海上游玩。我的心情变得异常兴奋和开心。
那天下了一个上午的雨，下午雨过天，天空泛起宝石一般的蓝。我们出发了！途中，烈日炎炎的下午却使我那小小的心里充满了欢喜。因为一想到即将去大海，便不由自主地开心。终于到大海，我看见码头上有许多船。所有的船簇拥在一起，有大的也有小的。我又望望眼前的大海，听着呼啸的海浪声，我愈加感到大海的宏伟和博大。我迫不及待想要上轮船，当爸爸告诉我是哪艘船时我便马上跑到船前。啊！真大啊！相对我来说，船是个庞然大物了。船的样子十分像古代的阁楼，上船之后，我马上把船全都走了一遍。船启动了。我站在船头，海风迎面而来，真舒服。突然，有人说有个重要的东西忘记拿了，船只好掉头回去。像是有人打扰了我的美梦，我显得极不开心。等那人拿了东西后，船又开始出海了。我又终于放心没人打扰我的美梦了。走了许久，看见远处有几座小岛。岛上树木很茂盛，一片碧绿。这些小岛就像是镶嵌在海上的一颗颗绿宝石，给大海增添华丽的`色彩。还有一些海鸥在轮船后飞着。像在跟轮船赛跑。凉风习习、鸟声啁啾让人心旷神怡。船集在一个小岛前，这里空气十分清新。有人已经开始钓鱼，有人下水游泳。一位叔叔朝游泳的人喊有鲨鱼啊！游过去啦！那些游泳的一副惊慌的样子，我们船上的人都笑了。如果画家把这个场面画下来，那么这幅画一定很美很美。
回去时，已是今晚，夕阳落山，洒下万丈霞光，大海顿时成了色彩斑斓的舞台。流动着霞光异彩。此时此刻，天上的余光，海中的波光，交织成人间最动人的美景。这时，海鸥又来了，然而这次它们不是来赛跑而是捕食。因为船的螺旋桨把鱼带上来，海鸥就有了可乘之机啊！此时岸边都蒙上了一层火色的纱幔，景色变得迷离起来。但是灯火辉煌。给傍晚的大海又增添了另一番绚丽的光彩。天空从艳红变变为淡红，从橙黄退到淡黄，从浅蓝转成深蓝，直到变黑，船便靠岸了。我带着满怀的好情情回家了。

At college, I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. Above all, I wanted to help my mother with housework. I also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended. However, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another,and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. There’s no place like home!

不知不觉暑假已经过去一半了，我每天都在充实中度过。下面我就来总结一下自己过去的暑假生活。
1、这个暑假最令我满意地是我看了许多书，如校讯通的全营养小书包（3——6年级阅读天使）的十本书、沈石溪全套动物小说、曹文轩纯美系列小说，以及妈妈给我买来的《细说汉字》、《智慧背囊》、《百科全书》等。这些书伴我度过了愉快的暑假。
2、游玩自然是不可少的，这个暑假我去了郑州的点点梦想城体验到了9种职业。另外，爸爸妈妈带我到附近的龙门、小浪底、白云山等地旅游，在旅游中我学到了不少知识。而且，父母还经常带我到黄河滩捉鱼虾、玩水，到孟州市黄河滩捉知了猴。每天傍晚，我和院里的小伙伴们还适当进行了一些运动，强壮了自己的身体。
3、这个暑假8月4日——6日，我就要考钢琴八级了，所以，假期里，我每天的弹琴时间都基本保持在2个小时左右，努力提高自己的琴艺，使自己的指法更加纯熟，速度更加得当。虽然到现在对考级心里还没底，不过，博友们，还是为我加油吧！
4、在读书交流方面，我也做得不错。这个暑假里，我总共参加了两届家庭联合读书会，并荣幸地当了第一届的主持人，提高了自己主持的水平，还和博友们交换了精彩的书，丰富了自己的.精神食粮。除了参加家庭联合读书会外，我和妈妈还办了一届母子读书会，两人都很放松，一场母子读书会下来，我觉得自己又精进了不少。
5、在写作方面，我努力做到每天写一篇博文，只要有时间就上校讯通和大家交流。这个暑假里，我写了35篇博文，21篇得到了推荐，这个成绩让我很是惊喜。在写博客的同时，我保质保量地完成了语文、数学、英语三本暑假作业。
真的，说实话，过去的暑假生活我感到很精彩，不满意的地方就是弹琴一直不够主动，没有抽出时间来练字，我想在剩下来的暑假生活中改正不足。接下来的暑假生活我想会更精彩，因为我马上钢琴考级，考级之后，妈妈就要带我去上海看世博了。我心里对世博真的很期待呢。

I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked green plants, clear rivers and lovely amimals there.I breathed the fresh air on the mountain and sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
