自古以来，西湖就是文人客所赞美的对象，每当读起这些诗词时，总想一睹为快。今年暑假来了这个机会——爸妈决定带我去旅游。想着去杭州，因为杭州是个浪漫的地方：素有“人间天堂”的美称，也是是因为西湖的名气大：镶嵌在这天堂里的一颗明珠。
说起西湖的来历，有着许多优美的神话传说和民间故事。相传在很久很久以前，天上的玉龙和金凤在银河边的仙岛上找到了一块白玉，他们一起琢磨了许多年，白玉就变成了一颗璀璨的明珠，这颗宝珠的珠光照到哪里，哪里的树木就常青，百花就盛开。但是后来这颗宝珠被王母娘娘发现了，王母娘娘就派天兵天将把宝珠抢走，玉龙和金凤赶去索珠，王母不肯，于是就发生了争抢，王母的手一松，明珠就降落到人间，变成了波光粼粼的西湖，玉龙和金凤也随之下凡，变成了玉龙山(即玉皇山和凤凰山，永远守护着西湖。
这次旅行我们一共游玩了三个景点：柳浪闻莺，长桥公园和花港观鱼。
第一站：柳浪闻莺。映入眼帘的是两边种满了的杨柳，微风吹过，杨柳便随风而动，异常美丽;耳闻鸟乐师优雅的伴奏。如果你有幸来到这里，一定会陶醉其中，忘记烦恼。第二站：长桥公园。我们向南走，来到长桥公园，虽名为长桥，但长桥不长。长桥公园的小桥流水十分幽静有“小桥流水人家”的味道。当你生活压力大、学习紧张时，听听鸟鸣，闻闻花香，那是十分的惬意。第三站：花港观鱼。继续向前走，我们来到了花港观鱼。可惜现在还没到秋天，不然就可以欣赏盛开的菊花了。西湖的水清澈见底，很容易就可以看到池中自由自在游动的鱼了。我们买了写饲料，喂给池中那些可爱的鱼了。
然而，西湖不止我说的\'这么简略。它位于浙江省杭州市西面，是中国大陆首批国家重点名胜区和中国名胜风景十大之一。它是中国大陆主要的观赏性淡水湖泊之一，也是现今《世界遗产名录》中少数几个和中国唯一一个湖泊类文化遗产。西湖三面环山，面积约6.39平方千米，东西宽约2.8千米，南北长约3.2千米，绕湖一周近15千米。湖中被孤山、白堤、苏堤、杨公堤分隔，按面积大小分别为外西湖、西里湖、北里湖、小南湖及岳湖等五片水面，苏堤、白堤越过湖面，小瀛洲、湖心亭、阮公墩三个小岛鼎立于外西湖湖心，夕照山的雷峰塔与宝石山的保俶塔隔湖相映，由此形成了“一山、二塔、三岛、三堤、五湖”的基本格局。
其实，西湖是一个泻湖。根据史书记载：远在秦朝时，西湖还是一个和钱塘江相连的海湾。耸峙在西湖南北的吴山和宝石山，是当时环抱着这个小海湾的两个岬角。后来由于潮汐的冲击，泥沙在两个岬角淤积起来，逐渐变成沙洲。此后日积月累，沙洲不断向东、南、北三个方向扩展，终于把吴山和宝石山的沙洲连在一起，形成了一片冲积平原，把海湾和钱塘江分隔了开来，原来的海湾变成了一个内湖，西湖就由此而诞生了。
关于“西湖”这个名称，最早开始于唐朝。在唐以前，西湖有武林水、明圣湖、金牛湖、龙川、钱源、钱塘湖、上湖等名称。到了宋朝，苏东坡守杭时，他咏诗赞美西湖说：“水光潋滟晴方好。山色空蒙雨亦奇。欲把西湖比西子，淡妆浓抹总相宜。”诗人别出心裁地把西湖比作我国古代传说中的美人西施，于是，西湖又多了一个“西子湖”的雅号。

圆明园位于北京市西郊，海淀区东部。原为清代一座大型皇家御苑，占地约5200亩，平面布局呈倒置的品字形，圆明园由圆明、长春、绮春三园组成，总面积达350公顷。
它的陆上建筑面积和故宫一样大，水域面积又等于一个颐和园。圆明园汇集了当时江南若干名园胜景的特点，融中国古代造园艺术之精华，以园中之园的艺术手法，将诗情画意融化于千变万化的景象之中。圆明园的南部为朝廷区，是皇帝处理公务之所。其余地区则分布着40个景区，其中有50多处景点直接模仿外地的名园胜景，如杭州西湖十景，不仅模仿建筑，连名字也照搬过来。更有趣的是，圆明园中还建有西式园林景区。最有名的“观水法”，是一座西洋喷泉，还有万花阵迷宫以及西洋楼等，都具有意大利文艺复兴时期的风格。在湖水中还有一个威尼斯城模型，皇帝坐在岸边山上便可欣赏万里之外的“水城风光

《圆明园的历史发展》
清代著名的皇家园林。康熙四十八年康熙帝（即清圣祖玄烨）将北京西北郊畅春园北一里许的\'一座园林赐给第四子胤禛，并亲题园额“圆明园”。雍正三年雍正帝（即清世宗胤禛）在圆明园南面增建宫殿衙署，占地面积由原来的六百余亩扩大到三千余亩。此后，圆明园不仅是清朝皇帝休憩游览的地方，也是他们朝会大臣、接见外国使节、处理日常政务的场所。乾隆帝（即清高宗弘历）即位后，在圆明园内调整了园林景观，增添了建筑组群，并在圆明园的东邻和东南邻兴建了长春园和绮春园（同治时改名万春园）。这三座园林，均属圆明园管理大臣管理，称圆明三园。
圆明三园面积五千二百余亩，一百五十余景。其中最著名的有上朝听政的正大光明殿，祭祀祖先的安佑宫，举行宴会的山高水长楼，模拟《仙山楼阁图》的蓬岛瑶台，再现《桃花源记》境界的武陵春色。一些江南的名园胜景，如苏州的狮子林，杭州的西湖十景，也被仿建于园中。长春园内还有一组欧式建筑，俗称西洋楼。圆明园还是一座大型的皇家博物馆，收藏着许多珍宝、图书和艺术杰作。
咸丰十年月，英法联军攻入北京。10月6日，占领圆明园。从第二天开始，军官和士兵就疯狂地进行抢劫和破坏。为了迫使清政府尽快接受议和条件，英国公使额尔金、英军统帅格兰特以清政府曾将英法被俘人员囚禁在圆明园为借口，命令米启尔中将于10月18日率领侵略军三千五百余人直趋圆明园，纵火焚烧。这场持续了两天两夜的大火，将圆明园烧成一片废墟。
同治年间同治帝准备修复圆明园，供慈禧太后居住。后因财政困难，被迫停止，改建其他建筑年，八国联军侵入北京，圆明园又一次遭到破坏。清朝覆灭后，一些军阀、政客、官僚，纷纷从圆明园盗运建筑材料，圆明园遗址遭到进一步破坏。
中华人民共和国成立后，国家十分重视圆明园遗址的保护年，圆明园遗址被列为北京市重点文物保护单位。之后，圆明园遗址的整修工作逐步展开。

秋分昼夜不分长短，各地方的秋分习俗也各具特色。在我国民间有竖蛋、吃秋菜、送秋牛、粘雀子嘴等趣味习俗。
秋分祭月
秋分曾是传统的“祭月节”。如古有“春祭日，秋祭月”之说。现在的.中秋节则是由传统的“祭月节”而来。据考证，最初“祭月节”是定在“秋分”这一天，不过由于这一天在农历八月里的日子每年不同，不一定都有圆月。而祭月无月则是大煞风景的。所以，后来就将“祭月节”由“秋分”调至中秋。
据史书记载，早在周朝，古代帝王就有春分祭日、夏至祭地、秋分祭月、冬至祭天的习俗。其祭祀的场所称为日坛、地坛、月坛、天坛。分设在东南西北四个方向。北京的月坛就是明清皇帝祭月的地方。《礼记》载：“天子春朝日，秋夕月。朝日之朝，夕月之夕。”这里的夕月之夕，指的正是夜晚祭祀月亮。这种风俗不仅为宫廷及上层贵族所奉行，随着社会的发展，也逐渐影响到民间。
竖蛋
在每年的秋分那一天，世界各地都会有数以千万计的人在做“竖蛋”试验。这一被称之为“中国习俗”的玩艺儿，何以成为“世界游戏”，目前尚难考证。不过其玩法确简单易行且富有趣味：选择一个光滑匀称、刚生下四五天的新鲜鸡蛋，轻手轻脚地在桌子上把它竖起来。虽然失败者颇多，但成功者也不少。秋分成了竖蛋游戏的最佳时光，故有“秋分到，蛋儿俏”的说法。竖立起来的蛋儿好不风光。
秋分吃秋菜
在岭南地区，昔日四邑（现在加上鹤山为五邑）的开平苍城镇的谢姓，有个不成节的习俗，叫做“秋分吃秋菜”。“秋菜”是一种野苋菜，乡人称之为“秋碧蒿”。逢秋分那天，全村人都去采摘秋菜。在田野中搜寻时，多见是嫩绿的，细细棵，约有巴掌那样长短。采回的秋菜一般家里与鱼片“滚汤”，名曰“秋汤”。有顺口溜道：“秋汤灌脏，洗涤肝肠。阖家老少，平安健康。”一年自秋，人们祈求的还是家宅安宁，身壮力健。
拜神
秋分前后的民俗节日有二月十五日开漳圣王诞辰：开漳圣王又称“陈圣王”，为唐代武进士陈元光，对漳洲有功，后成为漳洲守护神。二月十九日观世音菩萨诞辰，每逢诞辰，信徒多茹素齐，前往各观音寺庙祭拜。二月二十五日三山国王祭日：三山国王是指广东省潮州府揭阳县的独山、明山、巾山三座山的山神，早年由潮州客家移民秋为守护神，因此信徒以客籍人士为主。
送秋牛
秋分随之即到，其时便出现挨家送秋牛图的。其图是把二开红纸或黄纸印上全年农历节气，还要印上农夫耕田图样，名曰“秋牛图”。送图者都是些民间善言唱者，主要说些秋耕和吉祥不违农时的话，每到一家更是即景生情，见啥说啥，说得主人乐而给钱为止。言词虽随口而出，却句句有韵动听。俗称“说秋”，说秋人便叫“秋官”。
粘雀子嘴
秋分这一天，我国很多地方的农村还有煮汤圆吃的习俗，除了自己食用外，还要煮二三十个不用包心的汤圆，插上细竹签放在田边地头，这就是“粘雀子嘴”，寓意是让雀子不要来破坏庄稼。
