主持人说的第一个传言是“大象是用鼻子喝水的”，这是真的还是假的呢？我可是亲眼看过大象的！虽然我没有见过它喝水，但是我见过大象是怎么吃水果的。大象用长长的鼻子抓住，再把鼻子弯曲着伸到嘴里，吃掉水果。我想，那如果大象能用鼻子喝水，那也能用鼻子吸水果吃啊。所以，我推断这个传言是假的`。果然，在调查短片里大象是先把水吸进鼻子里，再把鼻子伸近嘴里喝水。看来，我的想法是正确的。为什么呢？因为大鼻里有一个膈膜，水就不会到它的鼻腔里了。而大象不直接用嘴喝水是因为它的生理构造。我学了一样知识。
还有一个传言，是“有一种食用菌是被母猪拱出来的”。在网上，有人相信，因为他自己吃过，也有人不相信，因为他们觉得猪拱出来的，能吃吗？不过，我是相信的。因为我在书上看过，这种菌俗称猪拱菌，学名叫黑松露，因为非常稀有，所以也叫“餐桌上的黑钻石”。可是，为什么母猪能找到猪拱菌呢？我一直没找到答案。调查短片告诉了我真相。原来猪拱菌可以发出一种公猪的气味，能够吸引母猪，所以，人们就用母猪来找这种菌了。
