那么，一头大象可以藏在哪里？
注意，这可不是猜谜语，更不是脑筋急转弯，而是我，一个小魔女刚刚遇到的难题。
给我出这道难题的那头大象，正站在我的对面，眼巴巴地望着我，它那小山似的身躯是那么引人注目。
它是一头从马戏团出走的象，需要尽快躲藏起来，免得再次被抓回去。可是在这样一座小小的城市里，一头大象到底能藏在哪里呢？
“所以我一逃出来就直奔这儿找你了。”大象说起话来带着重重的鼻音，“听说你是个小魔女。”
对呀，我眼睛一亮，我是个拥有法力的小魔女呀。这么个小难题怎么能把我给难住了呢？
我立刻给大象施了个魔法，把它变得小小的，小得像一只兔子，可以轻松地藏进灌木丛里。
“谢谢你，小魔女。”它满意地说。
没想到第二天它又来找我，请求我另想办法把它藏起来。
“对不起，我实在不能忍受自己变得这么小。”它忧伤地说，“作为一头象，我早已习惯自己的庞大。我习惯了跺一跺脚就能让大地颤抖，我习惯了扬起鼻子就能摘到最高处的果子。更重要的是，我不能忍受自己的心眼儿也变得小小的，我怀念我那颗大大的心。”
我只好帮大象解除了魔法。眨眼间，它又像座小山一样立在我面前了。
我想，也许隐身法更适合它吧。
于是，我为大象施了个很棒的隐身法，看着它从我的眼前完美地消失了。
“谢谢你，小魔女。”它满意地说。
可是，第二天它又来找我了，请求我另想办法把它藏起来。
“对不起，我实在不能忍受自己变得看不见。”它忧伤地说，“不管我多么小心，总有什么人撞上来，还嘟囔着‘见鬼’之类的话。更重要的是，当你变得看不见，你也就没法儿再和别人交流感情。昨天，我冲一只很可爱的猫微笑，她却昂着头从我身边走过去了，过了好一会儿我才反应过来，她是看不见我的。”
我正苦思冥想有什么更好的方法能帮到它，忽然，我注意到这庞然大物变得紧张起来。
我顺着它的目光看过去，见远远地有几个人正不怀好意地冲这边指指点点。
我也紧张起来。
情急中，我匆匆为大象施了第三个魔法。
我把它藏进一本图画书，把它变成一头图画书里的大象。那本书刚好在我随身带的书包里，而且书里碰巧有一大片辽阔的草原，还有一群友好的'动物，我相信大象在那里一定可以自由自在地生活。
没想到第二天我走在路上的时候，我的书包忽然动了起来。我连忙打开书包，那本图画书竟然自己从书包里跳了出来！
我看见那头大象拼命扭动身体，努力想从画面中逃走。我连忙施魔法把它放了出来。
“对不起，我实在不能忍受在一个完全不一样的世界里生活。”它忧伤地说，“那里的空气我一点儿也不喜欢，而且那些动物根本不像看上去那么友好。它们不喜欢我，不喜欢我文雅的讲话方式，不喜欢我比它们知道的东西更多。我想念这里，这里才是我的家乡。”
我拍拍它柔软的长鼻子，叹了口气。究竟该把这头多愁善感的大象藏到哪里才好呢？
远远地，从游乐场里传来小朋友们快乐的笑声。我一下子就有了个绝妙的主意。
我给大象施了第四个魔法，也是我作为一个小魔女所施过的最好的魔法。
这个魔法只在紧急情况下起作用，就是说，如果没有任何特殊情况，大象可以自由自在地在这个小城市里走来走去，一旦它被不怀好意的人盯上，它就会立刻变成路边的一座大象滑梯。
“谢谢你，小魔女。”大象说。这一次它真的非常满意。偶尔它会在黄昏的时候在某个安静的路口等我，邀我一起散步。
我很喜欢和它散步，因为它是一头很有学问、很文雅，也很风趣的大象。路上遇到友好的人冲它挥手，它也会扬起鼻子快乐地致意。当然，一旦它觉得对方不怀好意，就会立刻变成路边的一座大象滑梯，而我呢，当然也可以当一回小朋友，玩儿个痛快啦！
