杨老师先往一号、二号两个玻璃杯里装满纯净水，然后将鸡蛋分别放入两杯水中，这时的鸡蛋就像潜水健儿一样跳进水中，安然躺在水底。这时，杨老师在二号杯子里不断加入食盐，奇迹发生………这时的.鸡蛋宝宝就像睡美人从梦中醒来一样，揉眼睛，伸展懒惰的腰，稍微向上移动！同学们的眼睛圆圆的，大大的，直直地盯着二号杯子，害怕错过见证奇迹的瞬间！慢慢地，慢慢地，鸡蛋浮出水面。突然，教室沸腾起来，同学们同声尖叫，但很快又安静下来，我们的心里充满了疑问。为什么鸡蛋会浮起来？杨老师似乎看穿了同学们的心，语言重心长说：“我们在水中加盐时，水的密度发生了变化，盐水的密度比鸡蛋的密度大的话，鸡蛋就会浮起来。所以我们看到二号杯子里的鸡蛋宝宝浮起来了。”听了杨老师的话，同学们有想法点头。
为了帮助同学们了解浮力，接下来，杨老师给我们打了一个有趣的游戏。赖奕帆同学扮演鸡蛋，杨老师扮演纯净水，这时的赖奕帆被杨老师紧紧抱住，她用九牛二虎的力量也逃不掉杨老师，杨老师又让几个同学扮演盐，在这几个同学的共同帮助下，赖奕帆同学迅速逃脱了。啊……原来如此，同学们同声说。通过这个游戏，我也找到了物体能否浮在水中取决于密度的答案。在清水中加入盐后，清水变成盐水，盐水的密度比鸡蛋的密度大时，鸡蛋的浮力比重力大，鸡蛋顺理成章地被“托”托。
这次实验很有趣！通过这次实验，我明白了盐水的密度大于纯水的密度，二是我们在生活中仔细观察，认真思考，大胆实验，可以从周围获得更多的科学道理。

在所有的扩展方式之中，因果推理法是最受用也是最透彻的方法。凡事先追溯到其原由，再扩展其结果，这是将主题阐述清晰、论述有力并且具有逻辑感的最佳手段。例如在“出国留学利弊”这一题目之前，若考生单纯说“有可能会使青少年学坏”，难免缺乏说服力，但若紧接着扩展“因为孩子高中毕业后思想上还不成熟，若认识不好的朋友会难以抵抗社会上不好的诱惑”，那么此论点一定会让考官眉头舒展，点头认同。由此可见，善用此推理法会让议论文如虎添翼，事半功倍。
