for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true. however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

回忆母校
在人民路小学上学还是要分为两个阶段，一个是在老校生活和学习了四年，之后在新校学习了三年。靠着印象中模糊的记忆，驾驽着我的时光快车，回顾到我的童年时光。
曾经的老校就坐落在现在的重庆小天鹅火锅食府那一栋楼的地方，有四个教学楼，进入大门正中央是一个花坛，道路两边是两排随风飘扬垂柳，往左是放自行车的车区，然后是一些个体育器材，单杠，双杠和跷跷板。右面是一些个用车胎装饰的体育器具，还有一个小操场，再往右就是老师的家属院，学校和家属院没有院墙，可以自由往来，而当时的校长，和教我四年语文的老师，也是我的班主任张翠兰老师就住在那。
再往里走，就是旗杆了，还有主教学楼，最南边的是小学一年级，对面是二年级，然后二楼是三年级，对面是四年级，再往西有一个走廊，穿过走廊往西去就是五年级和六年级了，在五六年级最下方，也就是正对着大门的方向是学前班。最西边有一个往外延伸几米的教室，就是阶梯教室，开家长会或者老师开会时用的。往外来还有一个吊环。这就是人民路小学的老校。
我在这里度过了愉快的五年时光，在这里，我第一次认识了这么多的小伙伴，第一次当班干部，第一次戴上鲜红的红领巾，第一次看到《雷锋》电影。太多太多。
升小学五年级时，学校东面开了一条公路，连学校也要拆迁，暑假过后，就来到了现在的新学校，一整排教学楼显得格外显眼，那时的学校还在发展中，微机室，阅览室等设备仪器都还没有齐全，我的第一堂微机课是在小学五年级下半学期上的，相对于现在的学弟学妹们而言，他们比我们幸福了很多。
怀念老师
给我印象最深的老师当属教了我四年的班主任语文老师张翠兰，张老师为人和蔼善良，而且在教学上认真负责，学生们都很爱听她的课，每次，我们班都是名列前茅，几次语文成绩名列全镇第一。这样的成绩和老师的付出是分不开的，张老师课上和学生们认真探讨问题，课下和学生们打成一片。有时候，我们真想张老师是自己的妈妈。那时的我学习不是很理想，老师多次给我开小灶，培养我的写作能力和技巧，让我增加阅读量，还教会我怎样做人。后来到了高二，我申请成为了学校文学社的成员，短短的一个月内，学校文学社社长大选时，我以“辩论、演讲、写作”三项全能摘得实验中学紫薇文学社社长桂冠，并且成为校报《跋涉》主编。
在这光辉的背后，是张老师为我打的地基，为我埋下了文学的种子，四五年间，这颗种子任凭风吹雨打，经历了多少个日日夜夜，成长到现在。
就在前些天，我四处打听，终于和自己阔别五年的张老师见面了，喜悦之情，溢于言表，老师更没有想到，五年了，还有学生想着自己，并且带着可喜的成绩回来看自己，老师的心里更是乐开了花。我相信我会在文学的道路上越走越远，无论我走到哪里，有多么大的成就，但是，我的文学之基，做人之本，都在这里，这里就是我的出发点，我的起跑线。
当年的，已成为现在的校长，推行素质教育，成立校园文学社，落实社会实践等行为精神正鞭策着新一任的刘校长。我相信，在刘金庆校长的领导下，人民路小学的明天会更加的灿烂辉煌。
学为人师，行为世范，刘校长正用自己的言行践行者一个教育工作者的义务和责任。十年树木，百年于人，刘校长的慈孝之心一定会感动着、振奋着、激励着成千上万的.学子们，努力奋进，顽强拼搏。
立足当下
小学时学校没有文学社，更没有能够发表文章的地方，如今，刘校长给了学弟学妹们这个机会，有个展示自己的平台，你们要更加的珍惜。读书破万卷，下笔如有神。只有多读书，才能提高自己的身心修养，努力成为像所说的：一个高尚的人，一个通俗的人，一个脱离低俗气味的人，一个有益于人民的人，进而成为我们儒家先贤所说的：为天地立心，为生民立命，为往圣继绝学，为万世开太平。
如今当我再次踏进人民路小学时，看着那曾经朝夕相处的母校，那曾经学习的班级，玩耍嬉戏的操场，流水般的童年穿溢于我清淡寂寞的心间，童年的点点滴滴凝练成了串串流光溢彩的心结，那些逝去的童年，汇成巨大的黑色波涛，拍向岸边无力的沙粒，沙粒一样渺小的我，在母校的映照下，我不再是太阳底下干薄的一层影，却是朝气蓬勃的森林。
现如今全县各行各业正推出“四德工程建设”，学校定位于写得好，“大德育人，广行一生。”在素质教育要求德智体美劳全面发展的今天，德永远都是第一位，永远都是国人的安身之法、齐家之宝、立国之本、民族之根。德智体美劳是学生的根本，德就是根本中的根本。大德育人，教育学生如何做人，不仅仅是知识，还有在课本中学不到的东西，通过言传身教，潜移默化，一定会对学生的一生产生巨大影响，从而改变学生的一生。
一程风雨，一程阳光；一路耕耘，一路收获；母校走过了一程又一程的路，是一段有一段美好的回忆，又是一载又一载的风华，是一个有一个的故事。这故事串联在一起，成为人民路小学突飞猛进、又好又快发展的真实写照。

If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; I would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once.
The habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often hear grown up people say, I could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I wished to do so, and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.
If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.
If I were a boy again, I would cultivate courage. Nothing is so mild and gentle as courage, nothing so cruel and pitiless as cowardice, says a wise author.
We too often borrow trouble, and anticipate that may never appear. The fear of ill exceeds the ill we fear. Dangers will arise in any career, but presence of mind will often conquer the worst of them. Be prepared for any fate, and there is no harm to be feared.
