我们曾国藩爷爷说过，天下古今之庸人,皆以一惰字致败，天下古今之才人，皆以一傲字致败。意思是说，我做人不能懒惰，要勤奋；天才不能骄傲，要谦虚，如果不这样做，迟早会“败”下阵来。
在一个建筑工地，一个小女孩正在帮妈妈看摊，可她丝毫不肯放松学习，边看边趴在矮凳上专心写作业。在一个城市，一个老人在祈祷，在这里，有浪漫的光和泪，因为他没有钱供自己的三个大学生，所以来到这里，众人纷纷伸出自己的援助之手，帮助了这位老人。
在学习上，书占据的.地位很高，没有一件事比翻开一本书更容易了，它比饭店里师傅做面条更容易，比屠夫猪更容易，书没长腿，而猪长腿了，可偏偏很多人以为读书是最累的事，我们为什么不能像鲁迅先生一样爱书如命呢？所以我劝那些不爱读书的人赶快读书吧。
在非洲，狮子和斑马是一对水火不容的对手，斑马必须早起，比跑得最快的狮子跑到更快，而狮子也要早起，要比自己跑的慢的多的狮子跑的快，所以，这个故事告诉我们，只要自己早起，就可以获得胜利。
