经过20多个小时的汽车颠簸，我来到了广东深圳宝安沙井，在这个人生地不熟的城市，下了车都不知道何处何从，幸好在车站，碰到了本村一个早几年出来打工，在车站附近骑摩托车拉客的老乡，他把我带到了他租的一个小单间，我走进去一看，一个50平方的小房竟然摆放了3张床，我在心里对自己说：“这样怎么能住啊，别人都说外面很好，其实不象我们想象的那么好的。”
晚上，我正在为住宿发愁，老乡对我说：“今晚你就住我这里，这里有两条櫈子，晚上你就用它当床吧”。无奈，我就这样开启了自己的打工之旅，那天晚上，我用老乡给的櫈子，一条櫈子用来放腿，一条櫈子睡头，可是怎么也睡不着，由于不适应这样的睡眠方式和蚊子的叮咬让我彻夜难眠。天刚亮，我就准备去找工作，可是刚走出门，就看到很多治安人员在查暂住证，那时，如果没有暂住证的就被带上警车送到派出所去了。看到那情景，我惊恐的返回出租屋。此时，我到了妈妈出门前对我说的话，我只好叫老乡带我到派出所办了一个暂住证，虽然证件有了，可我身上也只剩下30元了，看到囊中羞涩的自己，30元全部家当是两个人的生活费，第三天老婆30岁生日，看看口袋中的一元钱，我还是狠心买了一个皮蛋，就这样给老婆过生日。但是如果不能找到工作，那该怎么办？
难道就这样狼狈的回家吗？我觉得对不起含辛茹苦养大自己，辛苦了一辈子的父母和自己一起打拼的妻子，自己的孩子，作为男人，一定要对家庭负责，挑起家里的重担。好在天无绝人之路，第四天的下午，老乡回来告诉我，有一个工厂在招喷油工，你想不想学技术，不过要交200元介绍费，你愿意去的话，介绍费我先帮你垫付。当时，只要能找到工作就不错了，我满口答应，第二天，就和老乡来到一个叫桑力玩具厂上班了。

Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.
