有一天，我去姥姥家吃饭，今天姥姥做的是饺子。我看见大人们都在忙着包饺子，而且还有麦穗形状的。于是，我就也想去包饺子。
我走到桌子前，对妈妈说：我也想学包饺子。妈妈同意了。由于我不会包饺子，第一个饺子就没有包好。于是，我便想妈妈请教怎样才能包好饺子。说完，妈妈就一手拿起一个小面团，一手拿起擀面杖，把小面团擀成了又圆又薄的面皮。我耐心的'看着妈妈的动作，她做的是那样认真。妈妈开始放馅儿了。她拿着小勺子，放了一勺适当的馅儿然后再把相对着的两边用食指捏在一起，直到把脚趾捏到没缝儿为止。
我要开始包饺子了，我先擀面皮儿，但总是擀不圆，真是看起来简单做起来难啊！我真想放弃呀。就在这时，妈妈对我说：干什么事情都不能半途而废呀，应该坚持到底，你一定要相信自己。妈妈的话音刚落，我就又鼓起了勇气，继续包起来。我按照妈妈的样子做了起来，果然，第二个饺子就包成功了。我激动急了，马上又向妈妈请教包麦穗形状的饺子，妈妈又教我做了麦穗形状的饺子。我又学会了地儿种包法。妈妈看见了我今天的成就，自然就很高兴，我就更不用说了。
通过包饺子，我懂得了一个深刻的道理：不管做什么事情都不能放弃，只要努力了就行，而且要相信自己。

One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.

nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single,yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

在一个阳光明媚的下午，妈妈说：今天咱们包饺子吃吧！我说：太好了，我正想学包饺子呢。
开始包饺子了。我说：妈妈，你先给我做个示范吧！妈妈说：好啊！妈妈很快地擀出一张饺子皮，又放了馅儿，两手一捏，就包出了一个很漂亮的大饺子。我说：就这样啊，实在是太简单了，我也会了！我模仿妈妈包饺子的样子包了起来，不一会，我就包好了。我立刻拿给正在客厅看电视的哥哥看，哥哥说：这个饺子不像饺子，也不像包子，能吃吗？听力哥哥的话，我一下子泄了气，很沮丧。我闷闷不乐地跑到厨房，一屁股坐在了椅子上。妈妈看我那么不高兴，就说：艾艾，不要生气，妈妈教你怎样包，你要耐心学才行啊！于是，妈妈手把手地教我。我学着包了一个，两个，三个都没有成功。妈妈鼓励我说：不要灰心，慢慢来！我练习了不知多少次，终于包出了好看的饺子，我真高兴啊！妈妈也很为我高兴。此时，我和妈妈的脸上都流着汗，喜笑颜开的。我把包好的饺子再次拿给哥哥看，哥哥这下也高兴地说：这回包的真好看，一看就好吃！你还真行啊！我说：当然了，下回别把人看扁了啊！哼！哥哥说：好好好。谁知道你刚才包的饺子好像丑小鸭，怎么一会就变成白天鹅了呢？只要肯学，没有学不会的！知道吗？嗯？我洋洋自得地说。
今天，我吃了很多饺子，因为那是我亲手包的饺子。
