亲爱的生活：
您好！我有好多话想与您诉说。
记得英国作家萨克雷说：“生活就是一面镜子，你笑，它也笑；你哭，它也哭。”您给予我挫折的同时，也赐予了我坚强，我也就有了另一种阅历。对于热爱您的人，你从来不吝啬。要看我们有没有一颗包容的心，来接纳您的恩赐。酸甜苦辣不是您的追求，但一定是您的全部。当我试着用一颗感恩的心来体会，竟发现不一样的人生：这个世间很可爱、很富有！树上小鸟的轻唱，太阳无私的光明与热能，路旁花朵的芬芳，都会令我感到心旷神怡。所以，不要因为冬天的寒冷而失去对春天的希望。
命运之神对霍金，在常人看来是苛刻得不能再苛刻了：他口不能说，腿不能站，身不能动。可他仍感到自己很富有：一根能活动的手指，一个能思维的大脑这些都让他感到满足，并对您充满了感恩之心。因而，他的人生是充实而快乐的。
不到2岁就又聋又瞎的女孩海伦·凯勒，将视觉“当作让生命更加充实的手段”。虽说她几乎是先天性地失去了这一“手段”，但是，因为她“感恩生活，善待每一天”，所以，自感“内心总是一个光明的世界！”
从上面两名人的例子中，你让我懂得了感恩，感恩于生命，感谢它给了我们体验生活的入场卷；感恩于苦难，感谢它给了我们继续拼搏的筹码；感恩于机遇，感谢它给了我们升华自我的阶梯；感恩于爱，感谢它给了我们感受温暖的热源......
还有这样一则故事：一次，美国前总统罗斯福家失窃，被偷去了许多东西。一位朋友闻讯后忙写信劝他不必太在意，罗斯福当即给朋友回信说，亲爱的朋友，谢谢您来信安慰我，我现在很平安，感谢上帝！第一，贼偷去的只是我的东西，并没有伤害到我的生命；第二，贼偷去的只是我部分的东西而不是全部；第三，最值得庆幸的是，做贼的是他而不是我。对任何一个人来讲，失窃绝对是件不幸的事，但罗斯福却从不幸中找出了三条感恩的理由。原来换一种角度去看待人生的失意与不幸，对您时时怀一份感恩的心情，则能使自己永远保持健康的心态、完美的人格和进取的'信念。
再想想我得到过的爱，哪怕它并不多；想想我的亲人、朋友，甚至是不相干的人为我做过的事，哪怕它只是举手之劳；想想早晨扑面而来的清新的空气，想想拂过我额前发丝的调皮的风儿我，还有什么理由不感谢您——生活？爱是纯的，心是诚的，感恩是真实的，感动是永恒的，真心感谢您——生活，让我于寒冬里感受到暖意；让我在风雨中体会到幸福；让我在漫长岁月的季节里拈起生命的美丽；才让我的心情有了诉说的归宿。

Everyone may encounter a scene when he or she wonders what the meaning and purpose of life is. Answers to this question vary from person to person. As for me, I agree with the view that the meaning of life is to discover your gift and the purpose of life is to make the best of it.
On one hand, one's gift could be the source of his inner happiness, providing spiritual impetus and correct orientation. Take the world-renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang as an example. His gift was noticed before he was 3 years old, which laid the foundation of his glorious life. On the other hand, proper use of talent helps people to realize their value in a positive way, thus making contribution to the society as a whole. For instance, Isaac Newton made a universally amazing discovery by digging into his gift and finding the Newton's law of gravitation.
In conclusion, let's search for our true gift and utilize it to the fullest to achieve a happy and valuable life.
