我知道你很牵挂外婆的身体。不用担心，有妈妈和舅舅照顾，你放心好了。上个月外婆打电话说感觉自己身体没劲，妈妈和爸爸把她接到医院去检查，医生说不是什么大病，只是脂有点稠，注意饮食就行。我想可能是前几天舅舅家盖房子累的。
我的表妹莹莹学习很努力，每次放学回来，放下书包就写作业。她的铅笔字越来越工整了，数学题几乎没错，这学期期中成绩在班里名列前茅。只是读课文时有的.字语调不准，我每次回去都给她纠正。原来你在家时，她吃饭总是挑三捡四，现在也不挑食了。最近天气热了，莹莹总是往外跑，所以她比以前更黑了，但看上去比原来更结实了。
我无数次问过她一个问题：“你为什么学习这么好？”她总是笑着说：“我爸爸和妈妈在外地打工不容易，我要好好学习，考上大学，找个好工作，挣好多钱，来孝敬他们。”小姨，你看表妹多懂事。
舅家的房子盖好了，是两层小楼。地上铺上了光滑的地板砖，墙上刷得雪白雪白，看上去宽敞明亮。今年暑假我可以回家多住几天，和表妹玩个痛快，再也不用担心被蝎子蛰了。
