记得我小时候，一个邻居家的大婶叫我跟她一块去种南瓜。她先刨一个坑，叫我把两颗南瓜籽间隔开种下去，然后她再把土盖上。开始我不知道怎么种，就捏着种子的大头把南瓜籽扎进土去。等种了好几窝了，那个大婶说我把种子安反了，应该小头朝上。我心想，是不是我把种子插反了，南瓜就不发芽了？我把这事告诉妈妈，妈妈说没事的，只是晚出来两天罢了。由于我们家离她家的地不远，我就天天跑去看我种的南瓜从地里出来了没有。可越是想看，越看不到，心想是不是因为我的原因？
又过了几天，当我路过那块地的时候，突然眼睛一亮，看到我们种的'南瓜出来了，有的坑里一颗，有的坑里两颗，还有的坑里没有。刚出土的南瓜苗像丫丫，好可爱呀。
从这天起，我就天天去看我们种的南瓜。南瓜苗越出越多，每个坑里基本上都有两颗，这下我悬疑着的心才算放下了。
南瓜苗长得很快，开始从丫丫的中间长出来了嫩叶，很快就长成了瓜秧，只有四五天的时间就长了半尺多长。并且在每个叶子的旁边还长出了两根须，嫩黄色的，有的张开，有的打着卷，有的已经紧紧地缠绕在田埂的篱笆墙上的，有的正在伸向附近的小木棍。
大约有一个月，整个田埂便被南瓜藤占据了，绿油油的叶子像许多撑开的小雨伞，在每个叶子的旁边又长出了花蕾，有的开了花，鲜黄色，有蜜蜂飞过来，从花的喇叭口爬进去，过几秒钟就又爬出来，身上粘了好多黄色的花粉，然后又飞到另一个花上。有时候我想和蜜蜂开玩笑，等它进到花里的时候，我用手把花的喇叭口捏住，蜜蜂在里边嗡嗡嗡，看样子它很着急，过一会我把手松开，它从里边爬出来，再也无心采蜜了，朝远处飞走了。
田埂上结了好多南瓜，有黑的，有花的，还有红色的好诱人啊，我很想摘一个下来，只可惜这不是我们家的南瓜地。
这就是我小时候的一段经历。这次也让我第一次感受到了大自然的神奇所在。
