这么说来，难怪会有人对充斥书店的“快餐文学”不屑一顾，对前不久媒体大炒特炒的“超级女声”嗤之以鼻了。但这样的做法，就我看来，不仅是极片面的，还是极不明智的。流行就是浮华的代名词吗？看样子不是这样。美国小说史上当之无愧的经典之作《飘》在当时就是一部名副其实的畅销小说。人们对它的喜爱绝不亚于当今人们对《达芬奇密码》的追捧。《飘》曾作为一部畅销小说并不妨碍其经典地位。同样，红极一时的“甲壳虫”乐队不是也由“流行”渐渐蜕变升华为“经典”了吗？由此可见，流行与经典其实并不冲突。一个时代的流行元素可以反映这个时代的特色，而其中历经甄选的部分则作为浓缩后的精华，上升到“经典”的地位。
感受流行风，把握住时代的脉搏，生活自然便会多姿多彩；重温经典，聆听久经岁月淘洗后的永恒之音，灵魂才能保持明净。周杰伦的“夜曲”与肖邦的“夜曲”各有千秋，郭敬明的《岛》和曹雪芹的《红楼梦》都看看又何妨？流行与经典都是构成我们生活的一部分。
