Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December.It is a very happy day for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act a nativity or “birth” play,showing how Jesus was born in a stable.
On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the side of the bed.
On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the light at two o'clock,and most of them are awake by six o'clock although it is not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At about one o'clock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

上帝打量了他们一番，开口说：“果然都是一表人才。现在请你们抽取自己投胎后的身份，我想听听你们对生命的诠释。”一号抽到的是一个天生残疾人，二号抽到的是一个极为富有的人。一号心里特不高兴，私下要求与二号对换，二号二话没说，一口答应了。
不久，一号回到天堂，上帝询问他的感受。一号怒气冲冲地说：“想不到富人这么难当。虽然我出生后一直在众人的呵护下成长，可每个人都在窥视我的财产，他们无时不在算计我，我过不了那种惊恐的生活便回来了。”
过了一段时间，二号回来了。上帝问他的感受。二号满脸笑容地说：“我虽然一出生就不能走路，但这让我思考了生命的意义。因为我残疾，所以更加珍惜时间和生命，懂得了要比别人付出更多的道理。我用双手写出了许多作品，激励了众多的青年人，挽救了无数的生命。我虽然最后还是于疾病，可我依然为我的选择而自豪。”
听完二号的回答，天庭响起了热烈的`掌声。上帝正准备把“生命之神”的光环戴到二号头上。一号又埋怨了：“这不公平，抽签时我本应投胎到残疾人身上的，可后来换了，如果我有他的经历，我也能取胜。”
在一号的强烈要求下，两人互换身份，再一次去了人间。不久，一号又比二号先一步回到天堂，他失落地说：“真倒霉，想不到残疾人这么苦，不但身体受苦，还要被人轻视，连工作也找不到。我宁愿自，也不愿饿、痛苦!”望着一号那失魂落魄的样子，上帝无奈地摇了摇头。
二号回来时却兴奋得很，他说：“我这一生过得更精彩了。我利用我的财产创造出更多的财富，然后捐献给社会，分给了穷人……我得到了万人的敬重。”
在一片热烈的掌声中，二号终于戴上了光芒四射的“生命之神”宝冠。

大部分现代孩子的权利少得可怜，甚至限制了应该喜欢什么兴趣。生活在到处受到限制的.生活中，和笼子里的家禽有什么区别？我们的青少年已经形成了自己的世界观和价值观，希望能为自己期待的未来而努力，但最终还是被迫选择自己讨厌的道路。父母的意愿不能违背。就像拥有否决权的俄罗斯一样，一票否决了乌克兰的抗议。
那么问题来了，为了创造好的未来，逼迫孩子选择自己不喜欢的学业真的好吗？
我好事。从最根本的角度来看，会伤害孩子对未来的憧憬和对学习的兴趣，对监护人产生抵抗心理。其次，父母认为给孩子的美好未来真的能让孩子接受并享受吗？看过这样的对话，记者在采访有钱人时问：“你很幸福吗？”富人摇头说：“不幸福。”记者又问：“为什么？你这么富有，生活那么羡慕”富人回答：“但是我不开心！从小，我的父母为我规划了一切，我一直生活在他们的控制中，我不喜欢这样的生活！”
为什么要努力学习？我相信许多人会毫不犹豫地回答：“为了更好的未来。”但是，这种不愉快的生活真的是我们想要的吗？因此，我希望青少年有权规划自己的未来。我们想要的是“自己的美好未来”不是“公认的美好未来”。

生活中，我也曾选择了信念。那天，我和爸爸去爬山。刚爬到半山腰，那沁凉的山风，此刻变得热乎乎的，那空气中也夹杂着热，十月的天气并没有完全转凉，太阳一出来，我就浑身冒汗，又热又累，难受极了！要不要继续爬上去？我陷入了两难之中，人们常说：无限风光在险峰。可我这么累，有风光又如何？我的脑中似乎有两个小人在吵架：一个小人说：“别爬了！这么累，有这么热，实在不值得在爬呀！”另一个小人说：“加油啊！遇到困难不要退缩！要选择信念呀！”对，没错，面对困难要选择信念。坚持不懈才对呀！我一咬牙，奋力想顶端爬去。
