In my life, I am proud of having a happy family. I have a kind father, strict mother and a naught little brother. As most other families, there are laughs and tears at my home. My father is friendly to others. Our neighbors speak highly of him. Mother is strict to me and my little brother.
She has high expectation to us, wanting us to have bright future. My little brother is a primary school student, but he doesn’t work very hard. All he wants is playing with his friends. It worries my parents a lot. But in general, we have more laughs than tears. I love my lovely family.

我有一位爱我的爸爸，我的爸爸有一头乌黑的短发，爸爸长得高高的，不胖也不廋，在浓黑的眉毛下有一双明亮的眼睛。你是否发现父母头上多了几根白发?你是否发现父母脸上多了一些皱纹?而我们还让他们为我们担心、受苦。
记得有一次，我准备去上学，突然，正发着高烧的爸爸叫我：“小莹，天气预报说今天有雨下，你带把伞吧。”听完爸爸的话，我看了看天空说：“爸爸，你看太阳多么猛烈，怎么会下雨呢?”说完我就跑向学校。到了第三节课，乌云小姐把太阳公公送走，并布置好舞台，还告诉人们“风、雷、雨，”这三位小明星要来开演唱会。直到放学，三位小明星开始演唱会了，天空下起狂风暴雨，我才发现自己没有带雨伞，同学们打着伞高高兴兴地回家了，我只好站在礼堂等人来接我。我非常的后悔心想：我为什么不听爸爸的话呢?妈妈去上班，爸爸正发着高烧，没有人会来接我的。我越想越伤心，甚至哭了起来。
突然，我看见一个熟悉的身影向我走了，我擦了擦眼睛，再认真的看了看，是爸爸!我高兴地跳了起来。爸爸见了我，就把身上唯一的大衣给了我，当时我发现爸爸只穿着一见薄薄的衣服。我和爸爸打着伞回家了，在路上，我觉得伞总是向我这边歪，雨越下越大，我只好继续往前走。终于到家了，我发现爸爸成了“落汤鸡”，而爸爸却笑笑说：“我没事，你不用担心。”我的眼泪不知不觉地流了下来。第二天，我发现爸爸的病更严重了。
每位爸爸都非常爱自己的孩子，我爸爸也是，他为了我宁愿自己受苦，父爱如山，说得没错!在这我要告诉爸爸，我爱你!
