那是一场灾难，她疲惫地回到家，望着母亲努力挤出的笑脸。她却无力回报一个笑容。无力地摊倒在窗边的躺椅上，告诉母亲她想一个人静一会。
窗外隐喻密布，荷花却不怕危险似的依然开放着。看着一朵瘦小而又过早开放的雪白色荷花，一场雨必定会让它黯然失色，就宛如黯然神伤的她一样。
如她所料，雨开始下了，一滴滴豆大的雨点一瞬间猛烈地摔打在它所能触到的任何地方。
她垂下了眼帘，不愿去看，她知道当她睁开双眼的时候她将看到什么。看到那朵稚嫩的荷花被无情摧毁的样子。但是，她错了——
当她无奈地睁开双眼之时，呆住了。那一朵雪白的荷花只是稍显憔悴，却依然立在那里。而那荷花边的一朵苍老而硕大的荷叶却弯了，她明白了。弯弯的，她看到了这世上最美的弧度，弯弯的，她看到母亲的背，静静地守护着她。

自从家里买了豆浆机后，妈妈每天都榨不同口味的豆浆或米糊给我们吃。有时，也分一些给左邻右舍。
看，当我们睡得正香甜的时候，妈妈起床了;听，厨房里传来一阵阵豆浆机开始工作的声音，那有妈妈忙碌的身影;闻，那是妈妈每天辛勤劳动的成果——好香的豆浆。你看，我们变得多么有精神;你听，那是一家人美妙和谐的笑声;你闻，那是熟悉而温馨的家庭味道。
