1。 头绪分明，脉络清楚
写好记叙文，首先要头绪分明，脉络清楚，明确文章要求写什么。要对所写的事件或人物进行分析，弄清事件发生、发展一直到结束的整个过程，然后再收集选取素材。这些素材都应该跟上述五个“ W ”和一个“ H ”有关。尽管不是每篇记叙文里都必须包括这些“ W ”和“ H ”，但动笔之前，围绕五个“ W ”和“ H ”进行构思是必不可少的。
2。 突出中心，详略得当
在文章的框架确定后，对支持故事的素材的选取是很关键的。选材要注意取舍，应该从表现文章主题的需要出发，分清主次，定好详略。要突出重点，详写细述那些能表现文章主题的重要情节，略写粗述那么非关键的次要情节。面面俱到反而使情节罗列化，使人不得要领。这一点是写好记叙文要解决的一个基本问题，也需要一定的技巧。如：
One night a man came to our house and told me， "There is a family with eight children。 They have not eaten for days。" I took some food with me and went。
When I finally came to that family， I saw the faces of those little children disfigured （破坏外貌） by hunger。 There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces， just the deep pain of hunger。
I gave the rice to the mother。 She divided the rice in two， and went out， carrying half the rice。 When she came back， I asked her， "Where did you go?" she gave me this simple answer， "To my neighbors — they are hungry also!"
3。 用活语言，准确生动
记叙文要用具体的事件和生动的语言对人、事、物加以叙述。一篇好的记叙文的语言既要准确、生动，又要表现力强，这样才能把人、事描写得具体生动，其可读性才强。试比较下面一篇例文修改的前后效果。
原文：
One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away。 He was soon lost among people and traffic。 He could not find the way back home and started crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by found him standing alone in front of a shop and crying。 They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked him what had happened。 Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived。 The two students decided to take him home。 Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound。 She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money， but they didn＇t take it。 She served them with tea but they left。
修改后：
The other day， five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street。 After some time， he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home。 But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic。 When he could not find the way home， he started and crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by from school found him sanding crying in front of a shop。 They immediately went up to him。
"Little boy， why are you standing here crying?" they asked。
"I want Mom， I go home。" said the boy， still crying。
"Don＇t worry， we＇ll send you home。"
And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy＇s house。 With the help of a policeman， they finally found it。
When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound， she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house。 Gratefully， she offered them some money， saying it was a way to express her thanks， but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea。

埋好垃圾后我们就去水上乐园了。由于我身高没有满一米五，所以只能去儿童区。但是哥哥身高满了一米五，他就可以和他爸爸去成人区玩。我和爸爸经过了一个小木桥才到儿童区。我先玩了会儿走钢丝桥，就是下面这张照片。一开始，我有点害怕，我叫老爸保护我。他先下水，在水里扶着我。后来我玩了一次又一次，一次又一次……最后我把儿童区的所有设施都玩遍了，只剩一个来不及玩。
玩了好一会儿，我们就去休息了。但是我们没办法直接到达休息区，因为只能通过游乐设施到达那里，所以我又玩了一遍，感觉很棒。之后我们就回宾馆休息了。
总之，我感觉这次旅行不错。我真想住在这儿，每天玩，但不知道会不会玩腻。

今晚，我一如既往，趴在书桌前做着看似根本做不完的作业，心里不住地重复到：哎，每天都是这样，每天都是这样，真烦!难道就不能换一种生活方式吗?
突然，这时不知从哪儿冒出一只小虫，它立马引起了我的好奇心，我呆呆的望着它，看着它不停地朝台灯灯光最明亮的地方爬去，它刚开始爬得还挺顺利，但在上那比它身高都要高出好几倍的“台阶”时，却显得十分吃力，摔倒了一次又一次。尽管如此，它也似乎完全没有放弃的念头，它仍在坚持着，努力着，然而，它的这种行为，刚开始在我看来不仅仅是可笑，甚至可以说是愚蠢的。
于是，我便继续埋头做作业，大约半小时后，当我再一次把目光投向它时，令我万万没有想到的事发生了：它静静的，一动不动地躺在灯光最强烈的地方，我以为它一定是累了，所以躺下休息，我便轻轻触了触它，这才发现，原来它已经了，这不禁令我感慨万分：一只生命力如此脆弱的小虫，竟有着这般伟大的精神，它为了自己心中的那片光亮，甘愿献出了生命。
我想，虫尚且如此，而有的人为什么偏偏做不到呢?飞蛾扑火，可能在很多人看来，这都是一种自取灭亡，很不值得，很愚蠢的行为，但我觉得恰恰相反，飞蛾它能为了自己心中的梦，为了自己的理想，义无反顾地献身，又有什么不值得的呢?
其实，这正如许多人一样，比如贝多芬、霍金等，他们都是身残志坚，贝多芬在双耳失聪后，却仍然坚持音乐创作，直至生命的最后一刻“我要扼住命运的咽喉”，这句话不正好体现了他在面对挫折时不屈不挠的精神吗?因患卢伽雷氏症，被禁锢在轮椅上长达20年之久的\'霍金，却身残志不残，成功地把挫折化为优势，克服了残废之患而成为国际物理界的超新星。
虽然他不能写，甚至口齿不清，但他超越了相对论、量子力学、大爆炸等理论而迈入创造宇宙的“几何之舞”，尽管他无助地坐在轮椅上，他的思想却出色地遨游到广袤的时空，解开了宇宙之谜，这些都是我们有目共睹的，即使他们身为残疾人，但他们从未放弃过，因为他们有梦，他们从未退缩过，因为他们有信念，他们从未畏惧过，因为他们有理想，他们的脚步从未停歇过，因为他们一直在寻找自己心中那片光亮，纵有千难万险，他们也会面不改色，因为有梦的人是打不败的，有信念的人是坚定的，有理想的人是无所畏惧的。
我现在不仅拥有健康的身体，还有爱我的爸爸妈妈，所以，我又有什么理由不努力学习，而去抱怨呢?每个人心中都有一片光亮，为了它，我们义无反顾。
