亲爱的爸爸、妈妈：
爸爸，再过几天，就是一年一度的父亲节了!我在这里向您问好!其实，我感谢的还不止妈妈，还有您!
爸爸、妈妈，你们知道吗?感恩节，就是每年11月的第四个星期四，那一天，每一个人都会给予自己最亲的人的感谢。每一天，你们都给予我无限的关怀，每一个细微的动作，都给我带来无限的感动。所以，其实每一天都是感恩节，都应该感谢你们给我的一切。
不管在学校还是在家里，我都不希望你们为我操心。我真的很想独立，自己做更多的事情来报答你们，但是，我还不行。我只可以努力的学习，把努力的成果捎回来，和你们一起分享我的喜悦，让你们放心。我不需要你们称赞我什么，只要你们一个安慰的笑容，一个轻微的点头，一句鼓励的话语，我都很满足。因为这是我唯一可以作为的报答。
星期六、日，我经过五天的学习后，终于可以休息几天了。可是你们，仍然每天一大早就上班，晚上天黑了才回来。而我，只能在家里，打扫一下屋子，做一顿饭，等你们下班回来。当你们拖着疲惫的身子，踏进家门时，我只有轻轻地叫一声“爸爸、妈妈”，然后捧上我亲手做的饭菜，让你们品尝。当你们吃完了我做的饭后，我的心，总是很甜。因为，这就是我对你们的感恩。
每个人，都会谨记着自己一年只有一次的生日。当我和弟弟的生日来临之际，都会早早地告诉你们，怕你们忘记了。到了生日那天，你们还会带我们出去吃饭，买礼物给我们，我们都很开心。然而，我们却忘了，我们出生的那一天，是妈妈您最辛苦的那一天。为什么庆祝的是我们，而不是您呢?但是，到了你们生日的那一天，什么都没有说，只是轻描淡写地掠过……
我们之所以会生病，都是因为不听从你们的劝告。而你们的生病，都是因为太过操劳了。我们生病时，你们又是带我们去医院，又是问长问短的，让生病时的我们得到最好的照顾。相反，你们呢?我一直以为，爸爸您是最强壮的，身体很好。可是，再好的身子，太操劳，还是会生病的。但，当生病的时候，您往往很少去医院，只是在家里休息一下，喝杯凉茶，这样就算了。我心里总是感到一阵辛酸，想到您操劳的样子，我的泪水筛筛落下……我只有尽自己的所能，您褒一些有营养的鱼汤。尽管我褒的汤不好喝，但是，您每次都会把它喝光……
爸爸、妈妈，你们就像是一个温暖的港口，茂密的大树，为我遮风挡雨，给我最好的保护和照顾。我一定会做成为一只能展翅翱翔于天际的雄鹰，对着海阔天空，倾吐出对你们的感谢!

i am writing to you to express my thanks for your help in learning english and speaking english.
during these days in your class, i have learned much from you and it is very helpful to me. firstly, you let me know what is the west thinking pattern—straight thinking pattern. and, i think, it is very important to understand the west’s thoughts. as you know, this can help me with my examination and interaction with foreigners. secondly, i have got enough confidence in speaking in english from your class and it took me a long time to gain this confidence. now, i always express my ideas in english as possible as i can. it’s great to do that. the last not the least, i find that learning english is not an boring thing as before and i’m interested in studying english which was just a necessary task to pass examinations. reading, listening or speaking all become interesting and i really enjoy it.

回首间，屈指一数，你们已经过了不惑之年，我已经在你们无形的呵护下度过了十六年！数个春秋，时光匆匆不待人。我从牙牙学语的baby，到如今的花季少女，而你们随着时光的流逝，乌黑的发梢开始慢慢变白，熟悉的面容爬上了一丝丝皱纹……
现在的我，是即将展翅高飞的雏鹰，而我最需要的是你们的鼓励和支持，让我有勇气飞向蔚蓝的天空，创造出一片属于我的蓝天。正是你们那看似微不足道的言语，让我拥有走下去的力量。

你们好！光阴似箭，日月如梭，不知不觉，你们已经陪我度过了十二年多的光阴，看着你们饱经风霜的脸庞，心中，突然涌起一种酸涩的滋味。
“慈母手中线，游子身上衣。”孟郊的《游子吟》小时候跟着老师念，只觉得朗朗上口，现在读这首诗，脑海中浮现的，全都是母亲在我身边嘘寒问暖的情景。在我记忆中，从小到大，她都是以我为中心，我微微一笑，她便心花怒放，我一皱眉，她便牵肠挂肚。不论什么时候，我的情绪都能把她牵动，我的任何心思都逃不过她的法眼。她总是说：“有什么事别总闷在心里，可以跟我说，如果不愿意，那我帮你买个笔记本，有什么事就写上去……”或许，这个妈妈不是最好的，但在心里，我的母亲永远是最棒的！

Beloved father:
It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.
In the end, I strongly believed that you must be very familiar with my special work through what I said. And I hope you can stand my back and make me stronger. We will have a reunion soon.
