The reason why they prefer to wear expensive clothes is just for face. Some students thought the more expensive they wear, the more confident they are. Only wearing brand clothes can they become proud. Some students are afraid to looked down if they don't wear brands things. It is easy for students to compare what they wear.
As far as I am concerned, I don't agree that students pursue famous brand. Most students can't earn money by themselves. We can't waste the money to buy expensive things which are not useful. It is hard for parents to make money. Remember, the main task of the students is to study.

Second, as there is much free time, they can make use of it and gain the valuable experience. Students can join some clubs to develop more interest, or find part-time jobs. It is better than to stay in the dorm and play computer games all the time.

由于太阳辐射到达地球表面以前，中途经过大气层中的臭氧、二氧化碳、水汽、尘埃等物质的吸收或散射，能量会有所减弱。因此，地球上不同的地区和时间所得到的太阳辐射量，其大小不仅与地球表面所产生的高度角有关，而且与大气层的厚度、混浊度和水汽含量有密切关系。太阳的\'高度角，就是太阳照射地面的入射角。太阳光照射越接近直射，高度角越大，相应的穿过的大气层薄些，到达地面的太阳辐射量就大；越是斜射，高度角越小，相应的穿过的大气层就厚了，到达地面的太阳辐射量就小。另外，由于地球表面的地形高度不同，得到的太阳辐射量也会不同，越高处大气层密度越小，纯洁度也越高，因此的行高的地面，获得的太阳辐射量，就比地形低的地面获得的要大。
由于地球大气的影响，在地面上是很难测出太阳真正的辐射量的。而世界的最高峰――珠穆朗玛峰，是地球表面的最高处，太阳辐射到达那里所要穿过的大气层比别处要薄，同时那里的大气比较纯洁，透明度大，太阳辐射所受到的影响小，是探讨太阳辐射的一个理想的场所，更能反映出太阳辐射的真实面貌。我国科学工作者先后在珠穆朗玛峰海拔5900米、6500米和7000米以上的地方，设立了许多观测点，对太阳辐射和高山气象进行了观测，取得了世界上地表面最高点的太阳辐射观测数据。这不仅对发展工业和建设国防具有重要意义，而且，把帝国主义在1965年从珠穆朗玛峰南坡所窃取的有关资料，远远的抛到后头。

So learning knowledge is a very important thing, it consists of our world.
