Recently we did a survey in our class in order to learn about students’ ideal jobs. Here’s a report about my group members’ ideas.
Mary wants to be a fashion designer because she likes beautiful clothes and is good at drawing. Kate wants to be a gardener, she lives plants, and she wants to make the cities better. Mike would like to be a writer. He’d like to share his wonderful stories with others. Tom would like to be a cook. He’d like to cook delicious food for others. I would like to be a policeman. I want to protect the people safe.
Hopefully everyone can realize their dreams in the future.

有人说：每个人都应该有一双好鞋，因为这双好鞋会带你到最美好的地方去。我想，这鞋大概就是指理想吧。从呱呱坠地的那一刻起，我们便开始了人生的旅途，不管这旅途是坦荡还是崎岖，都要靠我们一步一个脚印地走下去，那或深或浅的痕迹不单单记载着我们一路走来的酸甜苦辣，更印证着我们对理想的不懈追求。
理想总是美好的，那是一个能让你最快也最容易实现愿望，得到快乐的地方，所以我们从不缺乏理想。如果理想是一位高贵美丽的公主，难以亲近，那么追求就是一个纯朴实在的小姑娘，平易近人;如果理想是水中若缺若圆的明月，那么追求则是空中时刻给我们贴身光和热的娇阳;如果理想是沙漠中转瞬即逝的蜃景，那么追求则是不远处真正给我们带来希望的一林绿洲。
庄子的“无所待”、陶渊明的桃花源，哪一个不美好，哪一个不令人向往，然而越美好的理想却往往越难以实现，而追求则是量度理想与现实的最佳标准，是从理想通往现实的唯一路径。有了追求，笨小鸟知道了它该比别人早起一点，刻苦一点，可是它最先实现了飞上蓝天的理想;有了追求，毛毛虫明白了它该再努力一些，靠自己的力量挣脱茧的束缚，于是它实现了变成蝴蝶的梦想;有了追求，蒲公英懂得了它要飞得再远一点，让自己的种子洒向更广阔的天地，于是它那毛绒绒的可爱小花成为了深色大地的`鲜亮点缀。
我们驾着自己的小船在人生之海上航行，也许每一朵浪花都是我们的新朋友，每一座岛屿都是我们的新伙伴，每走的一步都是独一无二，最初的理想是我们最好的导航标。但当我们的追求让我们一次次地看到了暗礁的坚硬、飓风的无情，我们不得不更换新的路线，也许这一次将通往另一个崭新的彼岸，不管与我们最初的理想相差多大，但都一定是更适合我们的。
追求让我们看清理想，理想让我们知道了追求的方向，只有当我们拥有了一个既适合我们，又是我们所向往的理想时，追求才更有意义，也更易转化为理想实现时那一抹绚丽的彩虹。

中文假如我是...
假如我是老师，我对待学生一定不像是对待不懂事的孩子那样，不会惩罚似的给他们留永远也做不完的作业。我会让学生们喜欢我，而不是害怕我。我不会像圣人一 样地处处说教。如果我是老师，我会和学生们成为平等的好朋友，尊重他们，理解他们。使他们以学习为乐，而不是把学习当成一种负担。

If I were a teacher, I would not treat my students just as some know-nothing kids. I wouldn‘t give them homework that can never be done.If I were a teacher, I would try my best to let them like me, not be afraid of me. I wouldn‘t teach them just as if I were a sage. If I were a teacher, I would make friends with my students. I would respect them and understand them. If I were a teacher, I would make study a happy thing to my students, but not a burden to them.

Everyone has his own dream. I want to be a good doctor in the future. The reason is that some doctors saved my life after I was badly hurt in a traffic accident. I was deeply impressed by their medical skils and greatly moved by their care for me. From then on, to be a doctor in the future has always been my dream.
Our dreams can’t be realized unless we make all our efforts. Therefore, the first thing I will do is to remember what my dream is. I won’t let it leave my mind, because it will help me to keep trying and fighting for what I want. What’s more, I will do my best to increase my knowledge and improve my abilities to prepare myself for an excellent doctor. Last but not least, I will never give up. Though there may be difficulties on the road to my dream, I will always feel confident and work hard.

During the first three years of junior school ,we were very happy and free .But we often heard that Grade 4 would be a hell. After the final exam of Grade 3 in June, everything blew onto our faces : teachers’ changing , harder and harder texts , terrible pressure and of course the graduate exam .Where your position was on the listboard became the most important thing in our life .We had to study hard day and night ,always from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. the next day.
But I must say that it’s really an unforgettable memory in my life. Under the pressure we lived our life to the fullest, and enjoyed the true interesting things that we may have never cared before. Grade 4 in junior school was a turning point in my life. My attitude to learning, my world outlook and my philosophy of life all changed. I turned to be positive and strong. I also gained many people’s true & pure friendship, both teachers ’ and classmates’. In some way, I like that kind of life, as it taught me many things I’d never learned before.
Teachers also helped me a lot. I still can’t forget that my history teacher talked to me until 10:00 p.m. on April 30th, 2003, for my application. My head teacher also encouraged me, so did my Chinese teacher. I should say, all my teachers worked very hard and always neglected their sleep and meals. Even if some of them were about 50 and often fell ill, they never left us one day .
The last and greatest challenge was of course the final exam, also my high school entrance exam. I felt very well and comfortable except my chemistryphysics exams. The result proved that I couldn’t have done worse in them. But in total, my mark is O.K. So then I became a student in the best high school of Hubei Province.
We, teachers and students, got together in East Lake Hotel on June 4th, 2003. At the moment of saying goodbye, I felt that my time of junior had gone ,and my senior time was coming .
Today, I looked at my graduate photos again ,and ,I smiled .
He once hesitated ,struggled, feared and doubted, like an ordinary man would do. But he just "stays at the door of fate", as the name of his newly-written book says, and waits till the door opens instead of leaving during the half way. Then there comes a wholly new world where the beautiful dream lies .

理想是沙漠中的绿洲，给予您生存的希望。司马迁年轻时遵从父亲遗愿，立志写一部能够“藏之名山，传之后人”的史书。在他着手撰写这部史书期间，受李陵案牵连被捕入狱，受尽酷刑，司马迁一度打算自，却因撰写史书心愿未了而顽强地活下来，历时18载，终于完成《史记》这部着作，史料丰富翔实，备受后人推崇，开创我国纪传体通史的先河。
理想是大海中的灯塔，给予您前进的.方向。王羲之酷爱书法，自小立志成为大书法家，每天勤学苦练，老师却将他的字称作“字”。为此王羲之曾一蹶不振，后来受父母劝导，迷惘间入山拜师学艺，日复一日、年复一年地练习，直到他写完第十八缸水后，师傅才允许他出师。自此其书法已成气候，字体端秀清新，“飘若浮云，矫若惊龙”，被后人传赞为“书圣”。
理想是风雨中的港湾，给予您无穷的斗志。鲁班出生工匠世家，从小耳濡目染继承了精湛的技术，并立志要将它发扬光大。一次，国王下达任务，要求20天内建造一座宫殿，可完成宫殿需要300根巨木，凭当时的工具根本无法按时完成。鲁班一度意志消沉，让弟子们离开，准备一人承担罪责。但想到自己未竞的理想，又重新燃起斗志，经过反复实践研究，终于制造出“锯”，大幅提高了采伐速度，按时完成了任务。从此，鲁班信心大增，遇事不再颓丧，通过观察生活，又陆续发明了刨子、云梯等工具，其美名在民间广泛流传，对后代工匠技术的进步产生了深远影响。
没有理想，人生就如荒漠般没有生机；没有理想，人生就如黑夜般没有光明；没有理想，人生就如迷宫般没有方向。让我们用理想的明灯驱散生活的迷雾，照亮人生的路途，让我们在崇高理想的指引下，一路披荆斩棘，努力实现自己的人生价值！
