一个星期日的清晨，我照例给娇艳的玫瑰浇水。忽然，我惊异地发现花盆下压着一株可怜的小草。它被风折了茎，瘦小的个儿在微风中瑟瑟发抖，狭小的叶片枯黄发焦，茎干巴巴的，要不是还有一点儿淡淡的绿色，我真不敢相信这个生命的存在。
我怀着怜悯的心，小心翼翼地拿来花盆，填满土，施上肥，种上这株可怜的小草，期待它的复活，哪怕长出几个鲜嫩的小绿叶，也是我莫大的希望。
过了几天，小草儿果然发芽了！它嫩绿的小芽儿挺出盆面，尽情享受着阳光的照耀。更令人意想不到的是，几个星期后，小草竟然开出了淡紫色的小花苞，花盆里清香扑鼻。虽说花没有牡丹的娇艳，也没有玫瑰的妩媚，但却淡雅端庄，温柔娴静。
不幸的是，一天下午我在玩耍时，不小心跌伤了腿，妈妈把开满紫花的小草连根挖起，给我止，然后随手扔了，我知道是那棵小草后，十分心疼，为它盖了一座“坟”。
过了些日子，“坟”上的土松动了，一株紫兰的新芽露出了尖，我大吃一惊，才领悟到小草生命力的顽强。难怪诗人用“野草烧不尽，春风吹又生”的诗句来赞颂小草。
它启示我，经过磨炼、不怕困难与挫折的生命是顽强的、有用的、长久的，并且是闪光的。我愿做一棵挺风傲雪的'劲草，在广阔的天地中坚强生长，为人类造福。
