"Good-evening," said the man with the ham.

"Good-evening to you. Where are you going at this late hour?" said the man.

"I am going to Dead Man's Hall, if only I am on the right track," answered the poor man.

"Oh! yes, you are right enough, for it is here," said the old man. "When you get inside they will all want to buy your ham, for they don't get much meat to eat there; but you must not sell it unless you can get the hand-mill which stands behind the door for it. When you come out again I will teach you how to stop the hand-mill, which is useful for almost everything."

So the man with the ham thanked the other for his good advice, and rapped at the door.

对于“增长”,毫无疑问,是更加直接的目标,我们在过去两三年所提及的“增长黑客”,更多是集中在探讨互联网企业在初期如何大规模获取用户的方法,更偏向数据、技术等手段,而在许多情况下,其实广告、营销对于用户获取也起到至关重要的作用。

从广告到销售漏斗的转化,是这本书探讨的一个重要方面,同时,营销玩法,扩散,也是新品牌、品牌推广活动需要掌握的增长方法。

可以说,这本书探讨的流量池思维扩展了增长的定义。

在digital手段下,流量池思维希望能够达到的目标就是,不浪费流量,为流量赋予转化手段,为流量“铺好后路”。

传统的创意思维偏见下,引导流量有种破坏作品艺术感的感觉。因而很多品牌广告看过后,没有激励即刻产生下一步动作,很多流量没有继续发挥作用。尤其在digital环境中。

流量池思维让我感到比较眼前一亮的是,第一开始就提到品牌是最稳定的流量池,讲品牌的重要性。品牌建设相对于很多企业来讲,有种跟不上时代节奏的感觉,其实是对品牌的一种误解,品牌不论从认知还是信任层面,其实都提升了购买几率。对于品牌认同的用户,构成了品牌稳定的客源。

第二个重要结论是,裂变是最低成本的获客之道,这和我们时不时在朋友圈、微信群里看到的转发分享赚钱的结论一致,裂变容易快速获客,形成大量自发推荐。常见的有,分享免费听课,分享得优惠,金额减免等等。

第三个块是基于事件营销的流量爆发,事件营销这个技能需要有比较高的公关基本功,比如策划吸引眼球的事件的能力,对于热点的及时跟进,对于危机的转危为机等等。

第四块是社会化营销的流量改造,这里的社会化营销是基于微信传播生态的。微信菜单和小程序的应用其实也是重要的流量存储、运营手段。

第五块,数字广告的.投放与流量转化,可以讲是营销人的基本功,是流量转化的一些基础,但是作为以增长为核心目标的营销人,仅掌握这些是不够的。

第六块,关于直播的流量转化,这是一个比较依托平台的方式,不确定作者写作这一部分的时间,从目前来看,是否还要采用直播平台,以及什么样的事件需要直播平台的配合,是比较重要的。

其中更重要要借鉴的思维是借助流量崛起的平台,比如20xx年上半年的抖音,研究并操作适用于热门平台的营销方式,是各个时期都可以去思考的。

最后是关于跨界营销的流量获取,可以大体理解为IP互取,结合这一次的传播目标和idea,思考和哪些品牌合作能达到互利共赢。也是一种互相借力的方式。

从流量池这本书提到的内容来看,流量增长这一角色一定是复合型的,要对品牌,创意,媒体投放,技术,社交媒体平台特点都有所了解,在这样整合思维的基础上,才能有流量池思维的诞生,操盘从品牌到流量到增长的真正实现。

附:流量池思维概念

“流量”是我们很熟悉的名词了,如果说层层转化呈漏斗型的话,那么流量是最初的切入口,决定了scale(规模),从online来讲,流量意味着对注意力的吸引度,以及对用户时间的占据。

作者从概念上区分了流量和流量池思维。

流量思维—指获取流量然后变现流量。

流量池思维—获取流量并通过存储、运营和发掘等手段,再获取更多的流量。

可以讲,流量池思维对于当下流量越来越贵越来越分散的现状更有价值,特别是对于预算有限的新品牌。
