每年的今天，我都会挤时间带着妻儿，与弟弟、妹妹们一起回来陪您过生日，二姨、三姨、满姨、舅舅、舅妈、姑姑等都会来看望您，陪您一起吃中饭，一起谈家常。印象中的今天，您都会早早的.把鸡鸭了，叫爸爸去街上买一些新鲜肉，做“三鲜”招待我们。这一天，是您最高兴的日子。
而今天，大家都没有来，我和弟弟、妹妹也是下午下班后才回家，我买了您最喜欢吃的姜糖、水果冻、葡萄，却只能摆放在供桌上，深味着“子欲养而亲不待”的感受。看着挂在墙上的您的像片，心隐隐作痛，两行热泪夺眶而出。
妈妈，您记得吗?您是农历五月十七(阳历6月11日抛弃所有，离开了您生活44年的桐子院。时间过得好快，一眨眼您就走了123天。
妈妈，家里没有您的日子很难过很苦涩。以前，家里的大小事情都是您拿主意，您总是把家里打理得井井有条。有您在身边，我们兄弟姊妹过得很轻松、很舒坦，无牵无挂，无忧无虑，大家可以安心地工作，尽情的享受生活。妈妈，您是知道的，爸爸平常从不做家务，自您离开后，他现在连生活都很难自理，一天只煮一餐饭，家里卫生一塌糊涂，爸爸看上去苍老了很多，身体的旧疾也又发作了。我们多次劝说他多出去走走、散散心，都被他拒绝了，他说要陪您呢。现在，爸爸打了一辈子石料的锤子终于放下了，有了闲暇，爸爸常与左邻右舍下下象棋，打发时光，我们四姊妹给爸爸定了一个“基本任务”：再活十年，养好身体，守好房子。
