人类一直希望自己像鸟一样能在天空中自由的翱翔，当时有很多想像，同时也发明出了很多可以在空中飞的东西，比如中国的风筝等，可是这些东西没有一样是可以带人上天的。一百多年前，就在当时美国有两位年轻的兄弟突发奇想做出了世界上第一架飞机的模型。经过上千次的实验终于在1903年发明了第一架飞机“飞行者一号”。这两个兄弟就是后来大家都熟悉的莱特兄弟。
随着现在科技的不断发展人类也幻想着有一天自己一回家就有饭吃，还幻想着不用打扫卫生等。1958年恩格尔伯格发明出了第一台机器人。虽然现在机器人还不能帮人类做什么，不过我相信在不久的将来一定可以实现这样的梦。
大导演斯蒂芬·斯皮尔伯格曾说：人最重要的就是想象力，想象力是所有能力的来源。人们依靠想象力来获取知识，而不是依靠知识萌生出想象力。
法国作家儒勒·凡尔纳可谓是科幻小说的开山鼻祖，令人惊叹的不仅仅是他精妙的文笔，曲折的情节和离奇的故事，而是他在十九世纪就想像出来的电器用品、家具设施，在人类步入二十一世纪后，全都梦想成真。
而早在民国时期，中国的两份杂志，1908年的《天津青年》和1910年的《新中国》便分别期望中国百年之后也能举办一场奥运会、在上海举办一场万国博览会。这两个梦想，分秒不差的实现了。
