When he failed to heal their disputes by his exhortations, he determined to give them a practical illustration of the evils of disunion; and for this purpose he one day told them to bring him a bundle of sticks. When they had done so, he placed the faggot into the hands of each of them in succession, and ordered them to break it in pieces. They each tried with all their strength, and were not able to do it.
He next unclosed the faggot, and took the sticks separately, one by one, and again put them into their hands, on which they broke them easily. He then
addressed them in these words: "My sons, if you are of one mind, and unite to assist each other, you will be as this faggot, uninjured by all the attempts of your enemies; but if you are divided among yourselves, you will be broken as easily as these sticks."

你们好！
上周五，结合《必修一》中《十八岁和其他》及《必修一·读本》中《生日礼物》等四篇，我布置了一项作业——请每位同学写一封信给家长，且麻烦每位家长写一封信给孩子。布置这项作业时，我心中有忐忑，更有期待。
从周日晚到周一晚，我只要有时间就在读信，我读完了所有家长与孩子的112封信，并在每封信后写上了自己的真实感受。如果说一开始我是怀着些许希望在读，那么，在读了三、四封家长的信后，我就是怀着虔诚与恭敬之心，在聆听家长与孩子心与心的交流。我不止一次潸然泪下，因为家长的艰辛与孩子的懂事；我不止一次深受启发，因为家长与孩子发自肺腑之言。衷心地感谢你们，谢谢你们的认真，谢谢你们的真诚！
112封信，112颗心，不，应该是169颗心——56名孩子，112位家长再加上我。一封封信将一颗颗心紧紧联系在一起，告诉我，告诉我们：爱需要沟通，爱需要理解，爱永远不会嫌晚，爱有时候需要勇敢地说出来！
今天，在征得家长同意的前提下，我选取了几封信读给孩子们听，又介绍了两篇名人写母爱与父爱的，大家一起分享着似水的母爱与如山的父爱。读家长的信时，我虽然一再提醒自己控制情绪，可眼泪还是不由自主地涌了出来，因为情不能已，因为感同身受。我读的哪里是信？分明是家长们炽热的爱子之心呀！教室里传来了抽泣的声音，我知道感动是可以传递的。一直以为，能够感动的人，容颜会一天天老去，但心依旧年轻；为感动而流泪的人，即使历经坎坷，仍然会笑对人生。
这一活动已经结束，但我相信一定会留下点什么，更坚信正在长大的孩子们，从家长、老师浓浓的`爱与殷切的希望中，会逐渐懂得珍惜、感恩和担负责任。
现在，我越发感到肩上的担子沉甸甸的。家长们，为了我们共同的爱与责任，携手齐心，一起努力；孩子们，为了爱，为了你们的未来，脚踏实地，做真人，求真知，上下而求索！

你们好！我很高兴是你们家孩子的英语老师。近段时间我经常遇到家长对我说Misslee，我不会英语，我也不知道在家怎么辅导孩子？今天我就给大家说说这个问题。对于父母不会英语的家庭，家长应这样帮助幼儿学英语呢？
第一，多陪。每天陪幼儿15分钟的时间，为幼儿播放光碟和录音磁带，配合幼儿做游戏。
第二，多夸。幼儿在幼儿园做各种英语活动，在家看光碟和听录音磁带，看似没有下苦功夫，开始比经意间英语在天天进步。家长要仔细观察幼儿的进步，及时给于夸奖。高明的夸奖其实是很重要的、很有效的“教”。
第三，与幼儿共同成长。在“陪”幼儿学习的'同时自己也努力学习，跟着幼儿一道接受英语启蒙。也可以让幼儿当您的小老师，当幼儿察觉到他们可以帮助您学习的时候，这种“成就感”会激励他们好上加好，加倍努力地学习英语，您也一定能到与幼儿共同成长的快乐。

你们好。我是刚刚接咱班英语课的老师。给孩子们上了三节课，从孩子们的身上我感觉到了久违的天真，质朴，善良，活泼。
孩子们很有上进心，有爱心，很积极主动，课堂上挺活跃的，能举手回答问题，绝大部分能按时完成作业。从这两天测验成绩看，比较好的有党艺文，吕津竹，李薇，张晨，于泽洋，林厚华，刘雅倩，刘畅等同学，在此提出表扬。但是，同学们在学习英语方面还是存在很多问题，单词，词组背不下来，不会拼读，很多基础知识不明白。
我很担心啊。家长如果在家里能够辅导最好多多辅导一下，如果不能的话，最基本的是帮忙看着背背单词和词组，以及课文。
