五年级英语周末作文【一】
这个周末，我们心光假日小队的成员和家长们一起来到了上海。我们既体验了当地的特色美食，又参观了现代艺术博物馆中科技与艺术结合的产物，知道了“只有想不到，没有做不到”这句话的真正含义。
其中，最让我流连忘返的地方便是欢乐谷了。在这个游乐场中，我印象最深刻的项目是“摇摆伞”。
大家一致商量好，决定去“摇摆伞”玩。可是，我们冲到那里后才发现，原来那就是一根可以上下伸缩的巨柱，柱子上面顶着一个很大的圆盘，圆盘四周垂着很多条铁链。每四根铁链上都吊着一把蓝色的座椅。运行起来，随着柱子的上下伸缩，圆盘不停地转动，而座椅则向旁边甩开来，就像一把巨大的伞撑起来不停地旋转。
我站着看了前一场的游戏者被甩起来的样子，听到了他们的尖叫，心里很害怕。轮到我们了，其他同学全都兴奋地跑进游戏场。而我因为害怕游戏的时候会被甩出去，就怎么也不肯进去。
当我们完成了“碰碰车”游戏之后，妈妈鼓励我再去尝试一次“摇摆伞”。而小朋友们也想再玩一次。我战战兢兢地跟着大家一起坐上了“摇摆伞”的座位。扣好安全带，游戏就开始了。大圆盘开始转动，一开始我睁着眼睛，感觉周围的一切在慢慢转动起来。座椅也开始被甩到半空中了。渐渐的，旋转的速度越来越快，柱子也开始不断上升，当我发现自己已经离地面将近十米远了，我只好闭上了眼睛。我感觉冷风不停地飕飕刮着，身体就像围着柱子呈九十度角在“飞翔”。慢慢的，速度又变慢了，直到最后完全平稳地“着陆”。我终于长吁了一口气，感觉这个项目其实并没有想象的那么可怕！
这一次，我战胜了我自己！
五年级英语周末作文【二】
早上，我还在呼呼大睡，就听“砰”的一声，我吓得从梦中惊醒。“啊呀！妈呀！”，我睁开眼一看，原来是爸爸把我床头的的课外书弄到地上去了。“有惊无险啊！”，我还以为了呢！
“小懒猪，还不起床！我们要去大雷山摘桔子了。”爸爸发话了。听了爸爸的话，我的跳了起来！
一切都准备好了后，我们出发了，一路上我看到了比爸爸还高的长得绿油油的甘蔗，还看到了金灿灿的稻谷。很快我们就到了芳杜水库，那里的水蓝莹莹的，我跟爸爸说：“我们去水库抓螃蟹和小鱼吧！”可被他们拒绝了。
终于到达大雷山了，我看到一箱箱的桔子从车上搬下来，心里真想快点摘到桔子，可是找来找去也没找到可以摘桔子的地方。后来，我们碰到一个卖桔子的人，他告诉我们要再等一星期，桔子才真正成熟，看来白跑了一趟。我们回到了车里，我心里很失望。
车子往回走了，突然妈妈大叫一声“停车！停车！”，车子刚停下，妈妈就迫不及待的打开车门，爸爸也下去了，我往车后看了一下，原来是去买桔子，于是我就在车里的看起书来。
过了一会儿，只听见一声“你好”从我耳边响起，我抬头一看，原来是个和尚，现在的和尚真流行啊！左手拿着手机，右手拿着可乐，我冲他笑了笑，就继续看书了。
后来，我把刚才的事跟爸爸说了一遍，爸爸乐的开怀大笑，妈妈却不相信。
我们就这样渡过了这个星期天！

As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.
