1、运用想象，恰当的添加动作、表情、神态、语言、心理、场景等描写。
如写“公交车上人多拥挤”，你可以一句话写完，也可以像如下去写：
此时人们之间便无了高低贵贱，紧紧“团结”在一起：笔挺的西装和肮脏的工作服挨在一起，白亮的高跟皮鞋胡乱地踏在黑亮的大头皮鞋上，人们之间也没有了礼貌谦让：身体高大的在尽情发挥高空优势，身体瘦小的也在巧妙地利用低层空间，上车的人气急败坏，下车的人败坏气急，满眼扭曲的面孔、暴怒的目光，满耳叫声、喊声、骂声和小孩的哭声。
两相比较，当然是添加了这种想象性体验的描写更加生动。通过想象使作者直接进入特定的场景中，帮助我们生成无穷无尽可写作的'精彩内容。当然这种清晰强烈的写作体验，不是每个学生都能具备的，教师要精心设计一系列的教学活动，触发学生的生活体验，真正做到“遵四时以叹逝，瞻万物而思纷，悲落叶于劲秋，喜柔条于芳春”，从而打开学生写作的闸门。
2、细化动作，增加动作的内涵，延长动作过程。
如表达“妈妈长时间看着我”之意，有的同学简单写成一句话：“妈妈长时间盯着我，看了很久、很久……”。而另一位同学不但写出了妈妈看的动作，还写出了我对妈妈眼神的猜想：
“妈妈眼睛看着我，我分明地感觉到她的目光在我的头发上抚摸，妈妈好长时间没有爱抚我的头发了，她在回忆那逝去的岁月吗?妈妈的目光抚上了我的眉，漫上了我的眼，我的眼珠不自觉地转动了几下，她的目光便一如我儿时她那双温柔的手，轻轻地按摩着我的眼睑，我知道她在让我好好睡眠。妈妈的目光滑到了我的脸颊上，似乎在找寻着什么，妈妈在找寻她自己的影子吗?又似乎在欣赏着什么，还是在欣赏凝聚她一生心的艺术品?”
增加了动作的内涵，同时也就增加了人物的情感，浓浓的母爱激荡着每一位读者的心灵，从而激起读者强烈的心理共鸣。
3、巧妙运用各种修辞手法。
前人评说先秦诸子文章，赞其“深于比兴”、“深于取象”，诸子文章即使议论一般的道理，也注意用生动的语言、丰富的比喻。这样才能变抽象为具体，使无形变有形，达到绘声绘色，从而增强表达效果。如今，各种修辞手法的灵活运用，更是令文章增色添彩。例如下面文段：
“当一个美丽的飞天曳着长长的衣带绕楼穿窗而过时，我们的灵魂也跟着飘飘悠悠，仿佛鱼鳝从水中一滑而过。人怎么可以把一根带子舞成这样，像一条河，像一道绵长的波浪线，像沙丘上飞舞的风。一个民族用它的灵魂在这根带子上舞过千年。”
这段文字采用比喻、排比的修辞，生动形象地将静态的画面赋予了动态美，强烈的语势表现了对生命的张扬和自由的渴望。
这样的例子不胜枚举，就拿鲁迅作品中对人物描写中的比喻来说：清国留学生盘的辫子像富士山，豆腐西施叉开着两腿像细脚伶仃的圆规，柳妈打皱的脸笑起来像一个核桃等等，都给人留下了难以磨灭的印象。
有关运用各种修辞手法提高作文表现力这一点，老师们平时关注的也较多，我就不再赘述。
4、扩展句子补充细节。
根据文章内容或情感表达的需要，在个别语句中灵活恰当地添加动作、表情、神态、语言、心理等描写，将这句话的内容充实起来，从而丰富整篇文章的语言，避免枯燥乏味。
如扩句练习：她骂他混蛋。
①她骂他道：“你真是一个混蛋!” (添加语言
②她用手指着他的鼻子骂道：“你真是一个混蛋!” (添加动作
③她早已被气得浑身颤抖，脸色铁青，怒目指着他的鼻子骂道：“你真是一个混蛋!” (添加神态

随着语句的扩展，语言表达生动起来，让人有了身临其境之感，读来自己似乎也变得义愤填膺，而人物形象也如立眼前。
总之，细节描写一定要服从主题的需要，当细则细，当简则简，或用墨如泼，或惜墨如金。孔子曰：“言之无文，行而不远”，我们只是想引导学生把心底的感动，用激情与智慧的方式充分表达出来，以期感染和打动更多的人。

As students, we often take examinations at school, but sometimes we have too many examinations which are too difficult for us. On the other hand, some of us are lazy and don’t work hard at their lessons. So when taking examinations, they sometimes cheat in order to get better results to please their parents and teachers.
