时间是世间最无情的，他就像溪水一样一去不复返了，他能将你华丽的容颜一扫而光，最终让你的生命消耗殆尽。鲁迅曾说过：“珍惜时间，就等于延长一个人的生命。”可是，要怎么珍惜时间呢？我不禁陷入了沉思……
上个月刚开学时，我还没有进入状态，一心只想着玩。因此，我回家越来越晚，晚不说还慢吞吞的：回家后，我就把书包扔到沙发上，然后倒在床上看漫画书，我不但不因我读6年级要升学了而感到紧张，还自我安慰道：上学这么累，谁不休息呢？而且也浪费不了多少时间，因此我更加心安理得了。这样，我要吃了饭才写作业，而我吃完饭却已经7：30了，再完成作业就8：30了，作业稍多一点，就得到9点出头才能完成，根本来不及练琴，况且我已经10级了，7月就要去考级，按我这样对待时间的方法所剩下来的那点微乎其微的时间根本不够。
看我这样，我不心焦，妈妈也心焦了。于是，我们进行了一场谈话。
妈妈说：“孩子，一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴呀！你这样下去能考好吗？”“不能。”我回答道，“你想想吧，你长大以后干什么，搬火砖？卖零食？修水管？”妈妈的话简短有力，亲切中带着点恨铁不成钢的味道。是啊！成功都需要珍惜时间呀，又有哪位伟人是玩出来的呢？我从小就想当科学家﹑奥运冠军什么的，可就我这样能行吗？学校的雕塑都告诉我们“志在天涯，路在脚下”，对呀！我是该努力学习，珍惜时间了。
晚上，我做了一个美好的梦——我努力学习，珍惜时间，到了期末正抱着100分的试卷傻笑呢！“嘿！……”我从猛中笑醒，我从床上坐起来，同时暗下决心：一定要珍惜时间，刻苦学习，把学习突上去！
从第二天起，我每天6：50就起床了，我赶紧洗把冷水脸清醒清醒，然后我就背古诗或老师要求背的课文，一直背到吃饭。就这样，我每天不但可以在8：20之前到校，还能丰富我的课外积累、增强记忆力。每天下午一放学，我不和好朋友一起走，一个人笔直回家，只是偶尔买根冰糕解解渴。回家后我打消了以前错误的观念，立刻写作业，我一笔一划高度集中精神写，因为现在时间还很多。这样既能保证作业高质量，又能保证在吃饭以前完成这作业。吃完饭最多才8点出头再练半个小时的琴，我仍有绰绰有余的时间来完成妈妈额外给我买的试卷、练习册，巩固白天所学的知识，还能保证充足的睡眠时间。
原来，珍惜时间就是在提高质量的'前提下，在尽量短的时间里，做更多的事情。它不仅丰富了我的知识，提高我的学习成绩，更重要的是培养我的责任感，让我不再是一个做事拖沓的人。
我一定要珍惜时间，同鲁迅先生一样延长自己的生命。
