我们知道，电视电影目前在中国还只是在电视上与观众见面，虽然有朝一日它一定会在现代科技的帮助下走入影院，但它的主要的存身之地还是在突屏。家庭观影的方式就决定它所应追求的视听效果，营造视听奇观不是电视电影的首要目的。因为在这样的观影环境中，制作者苦心营造的视听效果在小小的荧屏上显现不出它的魅力。像《泰坦尼克号》、《珍珠港》等影片是非电影莫属的；它给人们的许多观影愉悦都来自影院大银幕、音响等才可能显现出的视听冲击。小小的荧屏，很难形成巨大视听冲击力。同样是飞机快速地穿越山峦河谷，但我们在科技馆环幕影院观看美国影片《速度》时，特殊的观影环境使我们与影片的间离感完全消逝：我们的椅子会跟着腾飞，我们坐不稳，我们急速地眩晕——我们被带入画面，无法脱身。我相信，髙希希的《人沙暴》放到环幕影院太?放映，丨一定会有我们观石《速度》那样的视听感受。怛是家屮的电视机，不能给予我们这样的卓受，我I不端花太大的精力在电视电影上营造视觉舒观n彳II.某些视听效果还是应该为电视电影所注总。这种视听效果4、是作用T感'r'Ifi丨足作t丨T'心灵的，它配合着阅读，对某些情节进行着强化和点染，在观众的记忆里—划下深深的痕迹。看《恋爱季节》、%《我真棒》之后好长时间了。影片最:：:|后的段落依然让我记忆犹新。《恋M爱季节》中，李铁因为误会而失去了赵芳，他想尽各种办法都无法找到她，李铁的心陷入深深的疼痛和冷寂。应该说该片的导演睿子是一个非常会用画面讲故事的导演，在他使李铁与观众同时绝望的时候，又及时地让赵芳出现了。她是这样表现李铁获得新生的表情的：昏暗的咖啡屋里，李铁惊讶而呆滞的脸，突然一道金色的光照到他的脸上，紧接着他的整个人都亮堂起来，虽然李铁的表情没有变，但你通过这一片金色的光，分明看到李铁明亮幸福的心境。导演通过作用于观众心灵的视觉冲击，成功地完成了一次叙述，成为导演给予观众最愉快的视觉礼物。《我真棒》中的第三个小故事“水煮牛肉”的最后，获得好成绩的孩子和他的家庭教师一同游泳出来后，天空突然下起了雨，孩子突然从躲雨的地方骑着自行车欢快地冲进雨中，然后他的家庭教师也跟着冲进去。在师生欢畅的心境中，我们看到空中落下的雨，不是雨滴也不是雨线，而是密密挤挤细细碎碎的小方片，闪着银色和金色的光。这真是神来之笔，此时惟有这世上从未出现过的“雨”方能表达这个孩子从未有过的喜悦心境，观众也只有通过这奇异的雨的诠释，才能明白这孩子是多么的轻松与欢畅。这种作用于心灵的异样的画面展现，真正让观众领略了影视画面的叙事魅力。
所以，电视电影的视觉语言应该在冲击观众心灵上下功夫，而不要将资金和心花在营造视听奇观上。小小的电视荧屏无力助你完成你的这种“艺术理想”。
电视电影应注意的形态和特性不仅仅局限于以上所列，如利用电视电影创作班子短小精悍、小投资、小制作、短周期，影视频道覆盖面较宽的优势，制作纪实性节目和重要的纪念日节目；如为满足电视市场的需求，强化电视电影的市场竞争力，制作类型化的电视电影娱乐片如为避免环境干扰，电视电影人物语言必须字幕化等问题，都应是电视电影所要注意的。
