我曾有位朋友就因为沉迷于电子游戏，导致荒废了他的“一生”。他曾经为了打游戏而熬夜，导致学习成绩下滑，也曾为了打电子游戏进入网吧并沉溺于此。这还不算什么，怎么说呢？有一次，他为了赢得游戏的一个荣誉称号跟同学打赌，结果输了很多次，致使他的零用钱全部花光。实属无奈，竟然将自己母亲的身份证偷去卖了。有人说，为什么不偷钱呢？那是因为钱都被藏了起来，他把家里都翻了个遍也没找到。
或许有人会说，电子游戏既可以使人放松，也可以使人紧跟社会潮流，不落伍。那么，我再跟大家分享一个故事。
前不久，我看到一则关于11岁男孩跳楼自的新闻。他是家里的独子，所以父母非常宠溺他，给他买了一部手机，谁承想没多久他就沉迷于电子游戏，于是，他便趁着父母不在的空子模仿游戏中的虚拟空间，从5楼跳了下来，就这样，一个美丽的生命消逝了。
我是一个不爱玩电子游戏的人，说实话，我还真的很少碰手机。一个原因是手机被“没收”了，另一个原因主要还是我不喜欢玩手机。因为我有一次背着父母在手机里下载了一个同学推荐的游戏APP，结果那段时间我上课总是心不在焉。为了提高学习效率，我便把游戏卸载了。所以，作为一个“受害者”，虽然受害不深，但我还是强烈地否认电子游戏的盛行。
同时，我更希望那些沉迷于电子游戏的青少年们能战胜自我，走出虚拟世界。
