He next unclosed the faggot, and took the sticks separately, one by one, and again put them into their hands, on which they broke them easily. He then
addressed them in these words: "My sons, if you are of one mind, and unite to assist each other, you will be as this faggot, uninjured by all the attempts of your enemies; but if you are divided among yourselves, you will be broken as easily as these sticks."

在我们家生活极度拮据的情况下，他对朋友依然很奢侈。有时宁愿自己不吃也要让朋友吃好。记得我上二年级时，我们家庭条件很差，姊妹多，爸爸工资又低，别说吃好的了，连粗茶淡饭都不接气了。常常饿着肚子。妈妈为了省下吃的留给我们吃，经常不吃家里的饭，只要稍微改变生活，他都是让他的同事来饱食一顿。他就没想想自己过得什么日子，都食不果腹了，妈妈一说，他就斥责妈妈小气，没有格局。这种情况持续了六七年，直到他的那个同事调走为止。
他调走以后，爸爸认为他会给他联系亲密呢，谁知一走就杳无音信。爸爸没有抱怨他的一点意思。
爸爸不仅对他的同事是这样，而且对他的身边人也是这样。尤其对待亲戚，更是真诚相待。没事时总是带上礼物走亲串友，而且表现得特别慷慨大方。就拿二姨的儿子结婚这事说吧，别人都拿二千，爸爸竟拿五千，要知道五千可是妈妈三个月的工资啊，可他一点儿也不心疼。妈妈对他的`这种做法也是看不惯，但也无奈，就顺其自然吧。
转眼间，我姐姐考上大学了，我们家带升学宴，请了几桌要好的朋友来，谁知他们都没来，就几家亲戚来，来了只随礼1000元，这时爸爸才明白：不要高估自己和任何人的关系。
经过好多事证明，原来的你以为只是你以为，你对别人的好那是你心甘情愿的，别人对你如何，那是看你在他们心目中的位置。不要高估你和任何人的关系，否则会令你大失所望的。

今天的天气格外炎热。
炎热的天气让人感到烦躁。学校到家还有一段路连一处阴凉的地方也没有，我只好顶着火辣辣的太阳快步走着。空中的小鸟们仿佛也受不了，“叽叽喳喳”的叫着，这原本优悦的“歌声”此时也不在优悦!额头上豆大的汗珠滴下来，喉咙早已干得说不出话来，此时我心里只想赶快回到家……
这时，一阵争吵声打断了我，我停住了，由于好奇心，便想看过究竟，我抛开了炎热，挤进了人群：
“你瞎眼了吗?”一位青年人说道。“你才瞎眼了，你干吗踩我?”“你真可笑，是你的脚自己伸到我脚下的，还要怪我踩你。”“你这种人不讲道理，真不讲礼貌。”“你才是蛮横无理，你才不讲礼貌了。”……
一番吵闹，两人你不让我，我不让你，各讲各有理，各说各有礼貌，可是他们真的懂礼貌吗?
这不过是件小事，如果踩到别人的这人道声“对不起!”，被踩的'一方便相应的回声“没关系!”短短的六个字就可以化解一场争执，甚至“战争”。可他们并没有这么做，必然会有争执。
大家不妨想想，懂礼貌的好处，能让我们大事化小，小事化解!我们希望和平呀!
“对不起，没关系。”短短几字就能让我懂得这么多，我不后悔晚点回家，不后悔在这炎热的路上多呆一会!

经过一个小卖部的时候，无意中瞥了一眼，眼前的情况让我下意识地张大了嘴巴：一个女孩刚从小卖部买了一根雪糕出门，还不等撕开包装纸，一个男孩冲过来，一把抢了过去，还顺势推倒了女孩。女孩被突如其来的袭击吓坏了，坐在地上哇哇大哭起来。
我脑海中立刻浮现出小时候院子里的小朋友用皮球砸我的情景，于是急忙过了马路，准备安慰女孩几句。此时，那个男孩却又不知从哪里冒了回来，本以为他意识到了自己的错误，是来道歉还东西的。谁料到，小男孩不但没有道歉的意思，还变本加厉地对小女孩发起了攻击：抢她的漫画书、喝她的果汁水，还抢走她的发夹。小女孩变得披头散发，只剩低头抹泪了。
正在这时，男孩的父亲从远处走来，看到这种情况，立刻揪着男孩的耳朵，让他给女孩道歉，男孩不敢违背父命，于是冲着女孩不情愿地说：“对不起!”男孩的父亲一边笨手笨脚地给小女孩梳头，一边命令男孩把女孩的东西还给她，不住地连声道歉。此刻的我无比愤怒，想那女孩一定会生气地指责他们。可出乎意料的是，女孩抬头看了看冒着汗的叔叔和脸红脖子粗的男孩，轻轻地说道：“没关系，他在和我玩儿呢。”眼前这一幕，我惊诧了。
是啊，世上还有什么比一句发自内心的“对不起”和一声简单宽容的“没关系”更可贵呢?小女孩的话，相信我会一直记得。

It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.
