It has been two weeks since I last wrote to you. I am so sorry that I don‘t write you very often.
However, I have been busy with my preparation
for the final exams. As you know, I‘m coming home on Jan.14th. But before that, I have to take the final exams for all six classes I‘m taking this semester. Recently I have been in and out of the library a lot to do some research on the term paper for one of the classes. Most professors gave out the review problems already so that the students can study for the final. I think I‘m doing okay studying for the final.
Besides reviewing materials, I‘m also planning to host the New Year party of my department. You know there are so many talented people in my Communications major, but they picked me to host the party! Great, isn‘t it?

I also want to tell you one thing, I love you so much. I usually talk back to you when you say that I don't study hard enough. But in fact I just want you to praise me more. I arrivedin Guangzhoulast Friday safely,butthe journey wasnotpleasant. The train was crowded and dirty, and I was terribly tired when I got here. After a short rest, I feel quit good now.
Uncle's family are all very well. They were very happy to see me and theyare all kind to me. Cousin Wei Ping is really warm-hearted, and he has been showing me around the city these days. We have many things in common so that we can talk to each other all the day.Tonight Wei Ping and I are going to a concert. We both like the star very much.I'm sure we'll have a good time.
Guangzhou is a beautiful city, and a bustling one as well. Life here is busy,butexciting and colourful. I love the way people work and live here and I hope to have a chance to work and live in this city when I grow up.

在我生病的时候，那便是我最快乐的时候，妈妈守在我的床前，看着我入睡才离去，每隔几分钟她就进来查看我的病情，一边温柔的询问我哪里不舒服，一边帮我检查病情。妈妈做一大堆好吃的东西给我吃，可是我却没胃口，她急的像热锅上的蚂蚁，绞尽脑汁哄我吃一点，那时我便觉得她是天底下最好的母亲。可是待病一好，她又恢复往常严厉的态度，严厉的.叫我去学习，学习久了，感觉有点乏了，便歇息一下，母亲见状便说﹕“现在这几年最重要了，要抓紧时间学习，你不是小孩子了，不能老想着玩，现在主要目的是学习，快去把我跟你买的资料做了。”
于是我不得不继续去写作业。随着越来越大的我，跟她也有了较为严重的代沟，对母亲也产生了比较大的意见。记得那一次，她偷看我的，知道我有喜欢的男孩子了，便问我他是谁，就这样我跟她吵了起来，发展到了水火不容的地步，事后我再也不敢写日记了，也不敢轻易的喜欢别人。每当母亲训斥我的时候，我就会毫不犹豫的反驳，如果在反驳的过程中我胜利了，我会用讽刺的眼光轻撇她一眼，看着她呆滞的目光我心里感觉十分痛快，却殊不知她的心是多么的难过!如果我我反驳不过她时，我便委屈的流眼泪，暗暗骂她，认为这个家中没有亲情。
现在的我上初三了，经常不在家，与母亲也没有什么太大的争执，离开她的我感觉是多么的快乐。星期天回家也是十一二点钟打开家门便看见桌上有很多我爱吃的菜，香喷喷的!母亲夹了很多菜在我碗里，看着面前的“小山丘”我的眼睛仿佛蒙上了一层水雾。饭后母亲问我学校的情况，我也是用简单的‘嗯’和‘哦’搭腔，直到我回学校时，母亲倚在门口用带着眷恋的语气问：“这么快就走了，迟一点再去学校好吗?”我没有应，飞快的跑下楼梯。现在想想也太对不起母亲了。我真想对她说﹕“对不起，妈妈，以前是我不好，我爱你!”
我爱我的母亲，她是天底下最好的母亲!
