在现实社会中，人们首先要解决自立生存的问题，当你有了生存能力，进而富足以后，才能谈到为社会做贡献的事情。试想，你连自己的生存都无法保障，何谈为他人去贡献呢？即使你想贡献，那你又能贡献什么呢？当然，在财力无法达到贡献值的时候，也有贡献人力的说法。其实，你在赚取生活资本的同时，也是一种贡献，只不过贡献的价值或性质不同罢了。
俗话说：“有钱的出钱，有力的出力。”不管能力大小，只要有为他人为社会做贡献的心就好。这个力，只有在大灾大难之时的万众一心方显其力量的强大，平日里的个人之力则是微小的`。
