nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single,yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

我是一个很挑剔的人，看见眼前的情况就挑三拣四，老要求别人做得十全十美。对于家里的卫生，我总是意见最多的，一看到脏东西，就要外婆清除干净，但外婆那身子骨，不能做太多家务。妈妈走过来，看着我笑盈盈地说：“劳动是很不容易的，你与其整日挑别人的毛病，不如做个亲身体验，只有体验过，你才懂得珍惜别人的劳动成果！”所以我一睹气，就把楼层和自己的房间包下作为“包干区”了。
因我平时根本没做过家务，所以头一次做家务动作比较生疏。
我首先打扫房间，但地板怎么擦都不干净，掉下的头发丝很粘手；地毯上的.赃物也弄不下来，是用手一粒粒地将小纸屑拣出放进垃圾桶的。这样一来，没过多久，我的腰也酸了，背也痛了，但是工作只完成了三分之一。妈妈胸有成竹地看了我一眼：“我就知道你不行的，现在你知道做家务的辛苦了吧，做不了就别逞强了。”我不愿服输，就不理妈妈，继续做我的事。
该打扫楼梯了，却给我出了一难题：虽说楼梯不多，也非常容易清扫，但是屋顶高，我根本无法掸下积起的灰尘，就是换别人照样够不到。我只有暂时不考虑它，先擦地板和扶栏，有很多的卫生角，既难擦，又麻烦。折腾了半天才大功告成，弄得我筋疲力尽，浑身酸痛。
我从那以后，不再为那些事而感到不满，因为我懂得了劳动的辛苦。我们世界上最美好的东西，都是由劳动、由人的聪明的手创造出来的。如果你还不了解家长做事的辛苦，那也请你做一次家务吧，相信那个滋味一定会使你谅解家长的。

中午，午饭过后。我想尝试下做家务的乐趣，妈妈用疑问的语气和态度问我：“你能行吗？”我说：＂当然可以，别小瞧我，我要让你明白，我也是个好孩子！别不信，不信我试给你看，我一定让你对我刮目想看，无比佩服。”
先是擦桌子。我先找来桌布，用水打湿、拧干。接着过去擦桌子，我连擦了几遍，桌子上还是有油渍，怎么擦也擦不干净。
我记得妈妈以前曾经有对我说过洗碗的决窍∶“把桌布打湿，按几滴洗洁精在桌布上，再去擦桌子，桌子上的油渍会全被擦掉。以后碰到有油渍的东西就用洗洁精洗，即可洗掉，而且会洗的非常干净，看不出有什么油渍。”我按照妈妈以前说的话仔仔细细认认真真地做了一遍。桌子果然被我擦干净了，并且看不出有油渍在上面。
接下来要洗碗。碗上也有许多油，正当我想不出用什么办法有效地清除油渍的时候，我突然回想起妈妈以前对我说过的话。我马上按了几滴洗洁精在桌布上，把碗放在水里浸湿、捞出，再用桌布轻轻擦拭一遍，碗上的油渍和脏东西顷刻间消失的无影无踪了，看不出一点儿痕迹。几分钟之后，我就把全部的碗洗得干干净静了。
我把脏水倒掉，重新用水龙头装满一盆清水，把碗放在水里漂洗一会儿，漂洗完之后，把碗放在一旁晾干，晾干之后再把碗放在碗橱里。
晚上，妈妈在检查时惊讶地说∶“我真是小瞧你了，碗居然洗的这么干净。”并直夸我是一个勤快好孩子呢！我看的出妈妈的脸上充满无比欣慰、开心、喜悦、幸福的表情。
这次的经历又让我成长了不少，下次我一定要帮妈妈分担更多的家务！让妈妈更轻松，更开心！

炎热的天气里，妈妈一个人在家做家务。她满脸汗珠，浑身湿透，真让我有一种心疼的感觉。我想：我已经长大了，就上我来帮妈妈吧。
妈妈见我主动要来帮忙，非常开心，她让我先去拖地。接到妈妈的命令后，我走进卫生间，先将拖把放进水池冲洗，拧干，便拖了起来。由于平时我没注意观察妈妈拖地的姿势，一开始时，我不是拖地，而是将拖把放前面用力推，很费力气，也费时间。妈妈便上前来纠正我。她说：“应当倒着向后退着拖，这样不仅省力而且效率高。”我试试她的方法，果真是这样的。不过，家虽然不大，将每一块地方都拖干净，也是很费时间的，在这中间，妈妈还提醒我重新洗了两次拖把，累得我也是出了很多汗。大约达了四十多分钟，我终于算是完成这项工作了。
妈妈说拖地只是我干家务的一个开始，既然我能干好拖地，也能做好别的家务，所以她要将家务活重新分配，以后要让我多多做些事。我对自已充满信心，你们对我有信心吗？
