唐玄宗李隆基曾经重用过两个人，一个人叫张九龄。张九龄重用文人，举国清正，民风淳朴，创造了历史上前无古人后无来者的开元盛世。后用李林甫，李林甫重用会做官的人做官，上欺皇帝，下欺黎民，大肆贿赂，卖官粥爵，天宝乱世，唐玄宗在逃亡蜀川的路上，掉了他最爱的杨贵妃。
同样是一个人都会有两副面孔，更何况是两个人。合久必分，分久必分，分分合合，没完没了。究其原因，没有领悟国之道也。战国纷争，秦始皇归于百家争鸣，过于宽松，实行严苛的统治。刘邦以仁义推翻了他。盛极而衰以后，又出现了三国演义。于是就是这样翻来覆去，难道这真是定数吗？中国外国都在找这个道，但这个道却一直没有找到。几乎所有的人都认为历史是一面镜子，世界就应该如此。世界究竟应该是反复的，还是循环的？
法制社会，追求平等，人权高于一切。所以，欧美国家一周所工作的时间还不到世界人均工作时间的一半，很多人不必上班，靠领救济金也能生活。发展中国家和不发达国家的人，却可以只利用世界上四分之一的资源来养活世界上四分之三的'人口。他们只有不停的工作，没日没夜的劳作才能保护他们在这个世界生存的权利。
这平等吗？这怎么来谈人权？换句话说，如果一个国家只用十分之一的辛劳就换来十分之九的安逸，那人生在这个社会的意义何在？长此下去，用什么来支撑这庞大的开销和安逸。再换句话说，如果一生当中连个休息日都没有，连个旅游都没有，这样的人生也太悲催了吧。
所有人都该思考这个问题，什么是道？什么是度？我们是一直反复下去，还是应该循环？善生吉，恶生凶，善恶之间有没有第三个可以循环的品质鉴定词？君子道长，小人道消,那么那些既非君子也非小人的人存不存在呢？
