桂圆在小芽的时候仅有两三片叶子组成，需要几年才能长成大树。树的叶子是长卵形的。树木即葱郁又茂盛，简直是苍翠欲滴。它高有5。6米，不久就会长出小花，花的颜色是洁白的，其中还带着一总淡黄色，显得很淡雅，还有一股淡淡的清香。仔细观察桂圆，它的外皮是土黄色的。轻轻的剥开外皮，就会看到洁白，晶莹剔透的果肉，果肉里包着一棵紫红色的果核，好像一棵玛瑙，十分漂亮！

大家一定都听说过火龙果吧。
火龙果大概有我的两个拳头大。梅红色的表面十分好看，从远处望去，还真像一团火焰呢！如果你凑近仔细看，会发现火焰里面夹杂着许许多多白白的小点点。梅红色的表皮上长着十几片软软的，像剑一样的鳞片，螺旋形地长着，似乎是一条绕着圈圈的楼梯。鳞片的底下和火龙果的表皮一样，也是梅红的，中间是黄色的。等到了最上面，就完全变成绿色的了。在火龙果的顶部，有一个小洞。在火龙果的底部有三个一簇的小尖刺，扎到手上一定会出，你可要小心哦。把鼻子凑近，深深吸一口气的话，一股淡淡的青草味扑鼻而来，沁人心脾。
切开一看，火龙果表皮里外的颜色是不一样的，靠果实的那边明显比要靠外的那边深。果肉是白色的，纤维状的，有数不清的黑籽在里面，像黑色的鱼籽酱。挖一勺尝尝，清甜爽口，像加了芝麻的冰淇淋。黑籽滑过舌尖，麻麻的，嚼一下，香脆香脆的真好吃。吃完以后，火龙果就像一只小船，红红的，漂亮极了。用手一挤，边缘里的红汗就流出来了，好像。

木雕，是非洲最常见的工艺品。摊点里陈列的木雕琳琅满目，各式各样。
在一个摊子上，我惊奇地发现一个卷鼻大耳象的木凳，象背上驮着一块寸把厚的树桩。
在大耳象的旁边，有一只威武的狗站在石头上格外引人注目，天上有一轮圆圆的明月，那只狗昂着头望着那轮明月，似乎在想月亮里的嫦娥姐姐在干什么呢？我想这应该就是传说中黄山奇石的“天狗望月”吧。
我捧着一块和书一般大小的木板，仔细观赏，爱不释手。上面雕刻着两条中国龙，前爪相互抵着，各自回首遥望。两条龙仿佛都在游动，真像活了一样。
我的目光停留在雕刻在长球上的长耳兔上，这只兔子长着长长的耳朵，红宝石般的眼睛，还有小巧玲珑的三瓣嘴，可爱极了。
这些木雕工艺品构思巧妙，做工精致，个个雕得栩栩如生，活灵活现的，不知是哪位能工巧匠雕刻出来的，木雕表现了非洲人民的智慧才能。
