小猫也学着妈妈钓鱼，刚过一会儿，跑来一只兔子。兔子兴奋地对小猫说：“刚才我在森林里看到一匹马，长着飞毛腿，跑得可快了，它正驮着小动物们跑着玩呢，我们一起去看看吧!”

猫妈妈又钓到了一条大鱼，非常高兴。不过小猫觉得自己好像白走了一趟，很难过，它下定决心，要好好钓鱼，一定要钓到一条。
现在，它又开始钓鱼了，过了一会儿，一匹小马奔跑过来，上面驮着那只兔子。不过小猫不再三心二意，而是认认真真地在钓鱼，不多一会儿，它也钓到了一条鱼，猫妈妈看了高兴极了。
太阳渐渐下山了，小猫和猫妈妈依依不舍地回家了。
