我认为关键在自动学习，如果有学习动机就会愿意主动学习，不必压迫自然能越学越好。我有个同学，在中年级时，成绩排末座，高年级时，每天按时写功课，也听从老师的`要求对考试的科目非常重视，成绩越来越起色，他一有成就感越发认真，成绩进步到中上；毕业后，自己要求妈妈要去补习，因为他怕初一的功课无法应付，成绩又退回原点，他不要再过以前成绩不优的日子。
这个同学，虽然不聪明，但是知道自己要掌握自己的前途，不管有没有补习，都会学习，这样的读书态度就对了。
当孩子有好成绩的成就感，就会有读书的动机，越读越起劲，至于该不该补习，该不该抢救成绩，就只有当事人最清楚。孩子如果肯自动学习，在学校在补习班都能学得好，反之则差。
因此要让孩子明了，学习是为了自己的将来，为自己的前途着想，才能心甘情愿的好好读书。
