五年级上下英语必会小作文【一】
《上下五千年》是上世纪七十年代末、八十年代初少年儿童出版社出版的一套优秀历史读物。作者拟定了这套历史读物的整体写作提纲，写了部分篇目，并确定了《上下五千年》这一脍炙人口的书名。但遗憾的是，作者林先生未及完成这一部宏伟的写作计划。
《上下五千年》这本书中，让我最记忆犹新的是《八女投江》这个故事——八位女战士面对生抉择，毅然选择了投河，表现了他们宁可牺牲也不当俘虏的崇高精神。他们是不愿战友为了自己而牺牲在敌人的枪下，盼望有更多的人能够活着冲出包围圈，他们早已把个人的生置之度外。八个女战士用生命换来了部队的安全，他们的壮举让敌人感到惊讶，证明了中国人民是宁不屈的，这才是堂堂正正的、了不起的中国人！中国有数不清的抗日英雄，其中很多是无名英雄，他们都视如归、坚强不屈。
中国有近五千年的历史，故通常说“上下五千年”就是指代整个中国历史。我要推荐这本书。

As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

我读了《上下五千年》这本书，里面有许多小故事都深深地吸引了我：有的故事惊心动魄，有的故事感人肺腑，有的故事回味无穷。在那么多的小故事中，有几个故事我印象最深。
读完《中华上下五千年》的第四章：先秦重要历史纪事，不得不动容于中国古代的文明与发展，以及那时古人的高尚品德，当然，还有对于昏君的那种无奈与气愤。
你可以想像早在一万八千年前的山顶洞人能用兽牙，鱼骨，石珠……制成漂亮的装饰品吗?你能想像的到原始艺术其实也是丰富多彩，歌舞乐器在氏族部落简直就是一应俱全吗?恐怕你们连做梦都不可能知道我们的老祖先，其实也有爱美的观念和习俗。不要把他们想成全是一帮形似猿的，还没进化完善的“大老粗”。你瞧!摆在我们面前的是只红底白花的彩陶盆。盆中画着人头像，两旁绘有鱼纹图案。人像胖胖的圆脸，双眼眯成一条细缝，“眯眯眼”，咧着嘴巴笑眯眯的样子，足以叫你爱不释手，非常惹人喜欢。如此多姿多彩的原始艺术，叫人大开眼界，叫我们对原始人群佩服得五体投地。它折射出我们祖先的无穷智慧，凝聚着中国史前社会的精神文明。
大禹治水，这个故事我想大家对它再是熟悉不过了吧!传说尧舜时，黄河泛滥，洪水冲毁了房屋，淹没了稻田，拔倒了大树，卷走了人畜。叫老百姓们苦不堪言，活不下去了。于是，在舜主持的议事会上，人们一致选举禹领导治水。禹不敢稍有一点怠慢，努力工作，勘察山川地势。终于，禹不负众望，用了十三年的时间，终于把洪水驯服，治理得地平天升了。从这个说小也小，说大也不过分的故事来看，我们可以深刻的体会到禹的品德是怎样一种的高尚，“三顾家门而不入”传进千家万户的俗语。依次禹经过家门口，妻子刚生了儿子不到十天，邻里乡亲的去看看儿子，可他此时却倔得像头牛，说现在治水刚开始，没有工夫回去看。这是怎样的一种对自己工作负责的态度啊!我们也说，禹回去看一眼也费不了他多少时间，自个儿的亲生儿子亲骨肉啊!可禹为了全身心的投入工作，宁愿放弃去看儿子的机会，还要惜时如金的去治水，不辜负老百姓对他的期望。
