看了上面那幅漫画，揣摩一番，觉得那拨出掘井人挺有意思。再一细想，掘井人为何失败呢?原来是干劲有余，恒心不足。
世上的事情往往是这样：只要你立下了雄心而又脚踏实地去干，总能干成一点事情。但这脚踏实地却包含了多方面的因素，重要的不外乎几条：一是面对现实，雄心不能脱离客观实际;二是要有干劲，不做，雄心就只是空中楼阁;三是要有恒心，这是重要的一条，也是常被人遗忘的一条，特别是气方刚的青年人。
不是吗?在现今社会里，哪个青年没有一番雄心?这个想当作家，那个要自修英文……然而称心如意者有几个?究其原因，大多是缺乏恒心。恒心之重要，于此可见一斑。
其实，恒心之重要，古人早有精辟论述。战国时大思想家荀况就曾说过：“骐骥一跃，不能十步;驽马十驾，功在不舍。”其意思是说，千里马一跳，也跳不了10步远，劣马走10天，也能达到千里远的地方。它的成功就在于走个不停。这千古名言，也被诸多史实证明：美国大发明家爱迪生一生中有1000多项造福人类的发明，其中的白炽灯至今仍在沿用。当初爱氏为找白炽灯的灯丝材料，经过了1000多次实验，淘汰了上千种材料，最后才选中了钨丝。试想，倘若爱氏无恒心，能进行这1000多次实验吗?无独有偶，药品“六六六”据说也是经历了666次的实验才制成的，故发明者命之为“六六六”。倘若此发明者在第665次实验时就中断了，还会有“六六六”吗?
成大事者皆有志。大多数青年是看到了这一点的。然而，成大事者亦是有恒心之人，这一点青年朋友们却往往忽视。在当今四化建设中，需要有知识、有文化、有理想、守纪律的新一代。青年朋友们，你们都想为祖国崛起而掌握知识，这我理解，因为我也是你们中的一员，但这需要有干劲和恒心。我祝愿我们相会之时，都能自豪地谈起自己为祖国做出的贡献，而不要像那画上的人一样，半途而废无恒心，到头来，空悲切，白了少年头!

They think that they can get more detailed information from the original.
