剪纸的制作方式可繁可简，技法多种多样，如撕纸、烧烫、拼色、染色、勾描，多种多样的技法使得剪纸的表现力有了无限的深度和广度。它细可如春蚕吐丝，粗可如大笔挥抹。由于剪纸具有多样性，让剪纸艺术比起书法、水墨画中近平民，更具有亲和力，也让剪纸艺术变得更具备创造和发展的空间。
宋朝是剪纸艺术的普及期，在宁代，便出现许许多多的剪纸行业与剪纸名家，他们的出现，将剪纸艺术推向了鼎盛时期——明清时代。那，剪纸是每个女孩必须掌握的，还成为了人们评价新娘的标准之一。
然而，随着时代的变迁，剪纸艺术渐渐淡出了人们的视线。如今，剪纸艺术仍旧有人掌握，可剪纸终究变成了一种艺术，它已经与我们相距甚远，而且渐行渐远。

陶瓷，人们常说：景德镇陶瓷甲天下。没错，陶瓷是中国古代的一种手工作品，它的主要原料是泥土。先用泥土做成想要的形状，然后再煎烤，成型后，再上色，一个美丽复古的陶瓷作品就这样完成了!有时候，我们不得不佩服古人的聪明才智，一些不显眼的泥土竟能做出如此美丽的陶瓷作品。所以，陶瓷是手工中的一门艺术。
水墨画。中国古代的水墨画也是很有名的，古代的画家利用水墨画把祖国的壮丽山河，名胜古迹都描画的淋漓尽致，不但是祖国的壮丽山河，就连徐悲鸿的骏马，齐白石的龙虾，这些再普通不过的动物也令人拍案叫绝，可想而知，中国的水墨画是多么出名。所以，水墨画是美术中的一门艺术。
