十二公里外的远方，猫可以照顾自己，四对鸽子在老人常停留的地方的上空盘旋，两只山羊站在山头，望着它们的远方。老人仿佛感受到了动物们的目光，脸上露出一丝微笑，身体也渐渐放松了。他在桥边舒展开来，近乎躺了下来，像一堆尘土。如果不能和动物们一同离开，那倒不如就此入眠，也算是终究有了一个家。不知道那个年轻的士兵是否还会路过此地，如果会，他一定会将老人带回，和那些动物一同长眠。
