武侯祠位于南阳市城区西南方向，那儿有一个岗，名叫卧龙岗。自白河有一条路一直通到卧龙岗上，这条路就叫卧龙路。沿着卧龙路向西走，远远看去岗上一片苍松翠柏，这就是我们南阳的名胜古迹——武侯祠。
武侯祠是我国古代三国时期诸葛亮隐居的地方，诸葛亮是蜀国著名的丞相，也是一位有名的军事家、ZZ家，我们南阳人称他为“智圣”。
南阳武侯祠占地200多亩，武侯祠内鲜花飘香，绿树成荫，祠内的卧龙潭碧波粼粼，更显出武侯祠的迷人魅力。从武侯祠的外面进了大门，沿着道路中轴线分别有二门、刘备殿、过厅、诸葛亮殿五重院落，院内有卧龙井、碑林等历史遗迹，殿内有历史人物塑像，是全国九个武侯祠中占地面积最大的，里面陈列的石碑也是最多。其中，最著名的是南宋抗金名将岳飞书写的诸葛亮的\'《前出师表》、《后出师表》，字写得龙飞凤舞，爸爸说那是岳飞在运用他纯熟的枪法写字，引得大家哈哈大笑。
武侯祠里面最名的建筑，是一座不起眼的、叫做“诸葛庐”的茅草屋，相传曾经是刘备带领他的兄弟“三顾茅庐”的地方。爸爸、妈妈和我，我们三人在茅庐门口留影，爸爸说：我们也算“三顾茅庐”了，又是引得大家哈哈大笑。
我非常不解，诸葛亮是山东人，为什么会跑到南阳去种地呢？导游叔叔说：当时的南阳，是仅次于洛阳的第二大城市，洛阳战乱不断，南阳相对稳定和富庶。诸葛亮在南阳，不单是种地，是胸怀全国、胸怀大志的。他的青年时期的理想和抱负在这里起航，这是他的福地。
爸爸希望我长大了，也要胸怀大志、心装祖国。像卧龙先生一样报效祖国。
