目前，全球气候变幻无常、水土流失严重、温室效应明显、耕地沙化蔓延、生存环境日益恶化，严重威胁着全人类的健康与生命。为更好地保护环境，国家规定每年的6月12日至18日是全国节能宣传周活动，今年的主题是“绿色办公、低碳生活”。我们学校，一直注重对学生的环保教育，每年开展系列活动，学校决定今年，在各班开展“节能低碳、绿色生活、从我做起”为主题的“三个一”节能宣传教育活动。(举办一场主题班会，办一期小报，开展一次征文活动，积极向学生宣传低碳生活知识，不断增强学生节能意识。
家长是学生第一任老师，学校希望各位家长能参与到本次环保教育中来，积极做学生的榜样，大家一起行动。学校倡导各位家长，让我们一起从节约“一滴水、一度电、一张纸”做起，共同做到：
衣：根据天气变化，选择适宜的衣服，尽量减少空调的使用频次。同时选择环保面料并减少洗涤，尽量选择手洗。
食：尽量购买本地食品，减少食物加工及流通过程，可以减少二氧化碳的排放。使用少油、少盐、少炸的烹饪方法，健康的不仅是自己，还有我们赖以生存的地球。
住：住房面积不必一味求大，理智选择适合自己的户型。因为住房面积的减少可以降低水、电的用量，这在无形之中减少了二氧化碳的排放量。
行：提倡多步行、多骑自行车、多乘坐公共交通工具。汽车是二氧化碳的排放大户，有需要购买汽车的话，应尽量选择低油耗、更环保的汽车。
用：洗菜水、洗澡水循环利用、房间照明选择节能灯、购物使用环保袋、纸张双面打印、不使用一次性餐具、尽量购买包装简单的产品等等，既减少生产中消耗的能量，也减少了垃圾。
