八月份的中国非常炎热，但是到了英国我们才知道天气有多冷。出了飞机场上了公交车，导游说：“坐一个半小时的车就到了英国人的居民区，到了居民区英国的感受就有寄宿家庭的主初到人来接我们”。
我们寄宿的家庭女主人大约有五十多岁！见到我们非常热情，到了家里我才发现，英国人的家庭都是楼房，并且有好几层，每一层都铺着漂亮的地毯，房子周围一圈都是修剪的整整齐齐的草坪，和我们国内的别墅一样，不过在这里这样的别墅却很普通，另外，在英国几乎每家每户都养着猫。
女主人带我们来到了我们住的房间，房间在最顶层，即干净又整洁。房间摆着三张床，我在中间，陈颖靠窗户，杨洁在最里面，收拾好东西，女主人说：“dinnergirls”。意思就是说吃晚饭了。
到了楼下，在宽敞的餐厅里有一张大桌子。大家都到齐后，开始上晚餐了，晚餐是吃披萨饼，在中国都是大家围在一起吃饭。英国人却是一人一份。并且饭菜的口味也和中国不一样，我们吃的饭甜是甜，咸是咸，而英国人是甜咸搭配，以前听说过披萨饼，今天吃了地道的披萨饼，甜里加咸还有点酸，味道有点特别，还行吧，入乡随俗，学着适应吧。
吃完晚饭我们回到了房间，这时候已经八点半了，可是英国的太阳落的很晚，看着太阳，时间像中国下午六点左右一样。将近九点半了，我们都要洗漱上床睡觉了，太阳好像才刚刚落山，快十点的时候，月亮才缓缓升起。
来到这里第一天，让我初步了解了英国人日常生活习惯，家中的装饰、摆设，还有饮食习惯，也知道了英国日落是什么时候，一切都是那么的新奇。好希望一眨眼功夫天就亮起来，好让我更多的了解英国。在期待中我渐渐进入梦乡。

今天是星期六，我和爸爸妈妈去旅行。这次是爸爸他们的公司组织的活动，我们的目的地是金海湾，它坐落于美丽的西冲。
我们马上就道了芽山村，把行李搬上去了，准备住在这里。本来我们要去海里游泳，可是下雨了，去不成了，可是不一会儿，雨停了，我们就马上去游泳了。
我们到了沙滩后，导游说：“各位，今天浪非常大，请不要到深的地方去。”说完后，我们就下车了。我听了导游的话，坐在沙滩上“寻宝”。在这个活动进行的.时候，我爸爸他们都一直帮助我找完好的贝壳。忽然一个大浪，我来不及躲避，全身都是海水，但是我感觉我摸到了一个东西，我把它拿给爸爸看，爸爸说，这是珊瑚的化石。我不敢相信自己的眼睛，眼前这白色的小洞洞又多的东西是珊瑚的化石。
我们还抓了很多跳跳鱼和螃蟹。晚上，我们吃完饭后，就回芽山村了。
第二天，我们要去乘快艇，必须到沙滩的对面金海湾。我们到了金海湾后，租了快艇，乘上快艇后，一个叔叔说：“现在要洒鱼网了！捉到的送给你们。”我胆小地说：“别抓到鲨鱼就好------大家听了这话笑了起来。
过了很久，我们离吃饭的地方不远了。忽然一个大浪，我们的快艇从很高很高的地方掉下来，我一声尖叫，害的爸爸把水瓶掉下去了。这时，我看到了一艘轮船，它在无边无际、蓝蓝的大海上。
终于到了吃饭的地方，我问爸爸这是哪里，爸爸说：“这里是山门岛，这个水池里有几只老龟，它们非常饿，你又靠它们那么近，令它们十分十分饥饿呀！”我回头一看，看到了三只丑陋的老龟，大概有几千岁了，因为它们看上去很老。我喂了老龟一块肉，就去吃饭了。
我们吃完饭，就去玩了，我们还去了很多地方，也很美。第三天，我们念念不舍地回家了。
