作为民族文化中的精华,中国传统节日蕴含着丰富、深邃的人文内涵,是炎黄子孙共有的精神财富。然而,随着农业社会向现代社会的快速转型,人们的生活方式和价值观发生了改变,对传统文化的认同感不再强烈:曾历经千年而不衰的文化积淀逐步流失,仪式感日渐淡化,节日正演变为简单的假日,或是商家吸金的噱头。在众多非物质文化遗产渐次消逝的今天,如何善待每一个节日,让传统节日在现代社会中焕发生机,应成为我们关注的问题。
节日不仅仅是假日
从20xx年1月1日起,清明、端午、中秋增设为国家法定节假日,翻开了中国传统节日保护的新篇章。这一改变固然对保护民族传统节日起到了积极作用,却也面临着“鸡肋”的尴尬境地:文化传承的断层,导致增设假日的初衷并未真正实现,节日出现了“假日化”的趋势。
对于传统节日“假日化”的情况,中国文联副主席冯骥才指出,节日和假日是不同概念:假日是为了实现公民休息的权利,是一种福利,不包含特定的文化内涵。节日则大有不同,如春节,意味着全家团聚,表达了对美好生活的向往,所以含有避邪、迎福的内容。又如中秋节,表达了人们对团圆的渴望。增设传统节日为法定假日,是为了创造条件让民众更好地度过这个节日,而不仅仅是增加了休息日那么简单。
被“瘦身”的文化内涵
中国传统节日习俗多种多样,如春节的`祭灶、扫尘、放鞭炮、贴春联、挂年画,端午的祭祀、划龙舟、悬艾叶菖蒲,清明节的踏青、插柳等,人们通过这些行为表达愿望、敬畏自然、亲近缘、怀念祖先、体现价值观,它们也是节日文化的重要支撑。然而,在现代文明背景下,节庆活动的简化导致仪式感淡漠,节日文化内涵大打折扣。
城市化进程令大多数百姓住进了鸽子笼似的高楼,赏月的理想环境已不复存在。至于七夕,被扭曲为“中国情人节”;重阳,对于年轻人来说越发陌生……无怪乎有人惊呼,中国传统节日似乎就剩下饮食文化了,中秋节、端午节更是被戏称为“月饼节”、“粽子节”。
对于一个民族来说，传统节日具有增强凝聚力、树立核心价值观、加深文化认同的重要作用，是集体的文化记忆。如何拯救这些流传千年、意蕴丰富的文化记忆，让它们在新时代重现活力，是近年来包括专家学者、普通百姓在内的全社会关注的问题。
东南大学艺术学院教授陶思炎说：“节日文化产业的发展与传统节日风俗的传承可以并行不悖，不一定构成前者对后者的破坏，而是一种对节日文化生活的适时补充。把‘产品’、‘产业’与‘传统节日’相提并论，既顺应了时势的需要，也体现了文化创新精神。”
拓宽民众了解节日文化的渠道，也是值得探讨的问题。据调查报告显示，超过八成的被访者主要通过“老一辈说的”这一途径了解中国传统节日，选择“媒体上了解”的仅占四成；同时，近七成受访者呼吁，网络、电视、报纸、杂志、书籍等媒体要担起文化责任，加大宣传力度和广度，营造更积极的节日气氛
