清明节，在我的印象中是杜甫的“清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂”。而今年清明我才发现，我们唐代的大诗人似乎还少写了一景——烟，什么烟?告诉你吧，它既不是“日照香炉生紫烟”的烟，也不是抽一根少活五分钟的\'烟，而是扫墓的人们烧纸钱的烟。
来到山上，一座座坟前，人们念念有词的同时都在烧着纸钱，“房子”，“汽车”之类的东西。这样做不但浪费资源，还破坏环境，而且还存在安全隐患，既然如此，那人们为什么还要烧纸钱呢?
清明节在我国唐代就已经盛行，那时人们通过少纸钱来寄托自己的哀思，是因为当时科技不发达，人们无法对自己及这个世界从哪里来的给出合理的解释，于是就编出了各种各样离奇的故事，说人去世后灵魂就会到阴间去，在坟前烧掉什么，去的人就会得到什么。这种说法大家肯定都公认是错误的，而烧纸钱的习俗为什么还能盛行几千年一直流传之今呢?
其实，人们对科学的认识并不晚，早在南宋时期的陆游就已经提出了“去元知万事空”，达尔文的《进化论》更是现在被人们所接受的真理，既然如此，人们受历史文化的熏陶，对自己的先人有一种崇敬的心理，认为不去烧点纸钱就对不起先人，良心上过意不去，于是，才有越来越多的人参与到烧纸钱的活动中。
我在上文就已经提到了烧纸钱的坏处，其实，还有更重要的一点：烧纸钱是迷信活动，现代社会讲究的是崇尚科学，八荣八耻中也有“以崇尚科学为荣”一条，科学使社会在发展的途中不至于走向错误的方向。我们不应该烧纸钱，做违背科学的事情。
当然，科学归科学，中国几千年的传统文化不能丢。祭奠先人，尽孝道是我们中国的传统美德，只是祭奠也要与时俱进，我们可以扫扫墓，买一束鲜花甚至是采一把野花 白在先人坟前都行，表达自己的心愿就够了，并不一定要去烧纸钱。
