我最喜欢的事，莫非看爷爷电脑里的幻灯片。爷爷有许多老同事、老同学都经常发来幻灯片，爷爷都保存在电脑的“文档”里，并把它分类：人生、政治、科技、风景名胜、教育与艺术、朋友与健康等等，风景名胜中又分国内名胜、异国风情和千奇百怪等，分门别类，井井有条。我最喜欢看的就是千奇百怪。
我有空，就打开“千奇百怪”，我已经看了很多遍了，真是百看不厌。“千奇百怪”中又分“奇石篇”“怪树篇”“异房篇”等。
“奇石”就奇在形态上：有的像乌龟，有的像大象，有的像猴子，有的像女人，有的像老人，惟妙惟肖，活龙活显；
“怪树”就怪在大树的躯干上：虽然大树都非常茂盛，但它们的躯干形态各异，千奇百怪。有的像仙女跳舞，有的像双鸟自由飞翔，有的像婴儿哭啼……
“异房”就异在房子的结构和正统的不一样上：如英国的人体大厦，建筑的外形就是人的脸，有眼睛、鼻子、牙齿；又如美国西雅图的牛仔靴浴室，外形就是一双靴子；还如波南的弯曲房，房子中所有的房门和窗户都是弯曲的，我想里面应该是方正的；还有如荷兰的立方屋，正个建筑都是由很多立方体堆积而成的；更稀奇的如温哥华的除邪恶的装置，正个房子就建在方形桩上而桩是尖端着地的，如果我住在里面，会怕的。还有如新西兰的羊建筑，外形就是一头羊，等等。
“千奇百怪”是把全世界最奇特的东西汇集在幻灯片里，经常看，使我长知识、开眼界、饱眼福。周游世界也不一定能看到这些奇形怪状的物体呢！

One day, He is pursued by a bogie and hid in a shrine. He breaks a powerful bogie‘s seal whose name is Ban. And that involves her grandmother Xiamulingzi’s relics--a contract that sigh with the bogies. Since then, this powerful bogie turns itself into a cat in daily life to stay with Xiamu to protect him with the condition that Xiamu should give the contract to it after he die. But before that Xiamu decides to try his best to give the name in the contracts to the bogies and let them get free. Thus, a loving, touching, scary story is opened up.
《夏目友人帐》主要讲述了男主人公夏目贵志拥有可以看到妖怪的特殊能力。因为父母双亡他的性格较为孤僻，并且由于他具有特殊的能力，他常辗转在于亲戚之间并被同龄人欺负。虽然他经历了许多不幸，但他依旧有好善良没有埋怨任何人。最终他被有好善良的藤原夫妇收养并进入高中。有一天，他被妖怪追赶躲进神社，不小心打破了一只强大妖怪斑的封印。并牵涉到了他祖母夏目玲子的遗物—一本同妖怪签订的`契约书。之后，这只强大的妖怪平时便变成猫的样子待在夏目身边保护他，但是他的条件是夏目后要把这本契约书给它。但在此之前夏目决定尽其所能把契约书上的名字还给妖怪们让它们得到自由。由此，一个个温馨、感人、惊险的故事就此展开。
